It's purely cosmetic. I think it looks better with it on, but quite a few have binned theirs and polished underneath etc.

Car Parts 4 Less ! Battery Recommendations?

Pea-roast! Same company as ECP, just cheaper! ---------- Post added at 12:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:23 PM ---------- Moving... -
Hey up- got a good late bonnet for £40- just down the road too. Flash red though...
-
Pretty sure VW say 15W40 or 10W40. 5W30 is Ford spec!
-
That's a shame Jake, but looks like the correct decision :( What about a Fabia vRS or Octavia vRS TDi? I'm sure Lew/Heather would let you have a go in their Fab if you asked nicely? Fantastic car! The Octy vRS has the 170bhp TDi engine. ---------- Post added at 12:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:24 PM ---------- ps- we'll still be expecting you to come along to all the meets 8)

That torque is superb Jake 8) BHP disappointing though :(

Moved to correct section.

As above- all late (post 1992) cars have the 15 gal/70 litre tank. Valvers are very hit and miss with mpg. My first two would get up to 40+mpg on a long run. I've had a couple since that were running perfectly, but didn't get anywhere near that and were pretty much the same as every VR I've had. My G60 was consitantly the best for mpg.

Hi mate! There's a few people from the South West on the Forum- mainly Bristol/Glos. We have local meets sometimes, so keep an eye on the Events section ;) Handle repair: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?10426-Door-handle-repair-kit-THEY-ARE-NOW-AVAILABLE
-
Same here, although I'll have to get it done again as the local garage didn't weld it flat, so it pulls the trim up with it. They also managed to cut my leather passenger seat. Not a good day at the office!
-
Thanks mate- got an address?
-
Luuuuuuuuush! 8)

Gonna pop down tomorrow morning for some quotes :)

No matter what anyone says, a Corrado just doesn't cut it with kids. You practically have to get in the back with them just to strap them in! I understand your pain :( Sounds like a good price :)
-
Hi Heather- shame you're selling up :( Can you put a price up please? :)
-
Just change the wiper mate :)
-
Well done Tom! You don't hang around 8)

Jake, sorry to hear you're still getting crap from the manager. Unfortunately, you can get this anywhere though. 2 out of my last 3 'managers' have been absolutely terrible- one tried to stop me getting a payrise I had earned by rights amongst loads of other stuff. I'd go with bakery (less flak + more stable than the maternity cover job), although the other job sounds interesting. What is it? Drop me a text if you want. As the others say, happiness is paramount. However, you now have responsibilities, so you absolutely need a regular wage coming in. Is there any possibility of something else coming up after the maternity cover? It's worth asking them if they offer you the job. Finally, do a list of pros and cons for each position- often clears things up a bit.
-
Thanks Baz! Will call them tomorrow :) Also been given the number for Fry & Sons Upholstery - it's a Bristol number- have you heard of them? Think they're in Fishponds.
-
Wow, that's gonna be quite a task Kev! Will keep you posted...
-
Anyone recommend a decent leather upholstery repairer? The local garage managed to cut a nice 5cm slash in the side of my passenger seat bolster whilst welding the handbrake mounting :( They've been very good about it though and are offering to pay for the repair.
-
It's pretty good. Will give it a very close inspection and add some photos soon. It's still full of parts from breaking, so just need to clear it out ;)
-
Engine has now gone, so this is ready to roll  Ideal build project or for cutting up for body spares! Sensible offers considered.
