Yup, as above. It wasn't clear at all + your attitude was really off. This is a really welcoming, helpful Forum, let's keep it that way :)

Yes it can, but it's fiddly! You'll need to disconnect the two matrix hoses that go through the bulkhead. There are also two bolts you'll need to undo on the bulkhead (engine side) level with the heater box. They are in line with each other. There is another one like this down near the ABS pump on the right side of the bulkhead (engine side) as you look at it. So, 3 in all. Also worth taking out the centre console. It's pretty self explanatory, just awkward! Good luck :)

Just looked like Aqua Blue to me- quite a common colour.

Amazing stuff- well done mate! Really looking forward to pics of the finished interior- have you tackled the driver's seat yet? Mine has similar wear, so am very interested in the results. Paint looks spectacular too 8) How's the underside etc? -
Welcome! Sounds like you've got your hands full- you're in the right place though ;) Pics?

Typical! :( Gruvenparts do a stainless one, but it's £££. Let's hope it's just the o-ring.

Ah, the Greek guy again

Been getting this too- some sort of bug in the system. Andi?

Will do, Jacob ;)

Worth starting with the ignition switch. VW usually have it on the shelf as it's a 6N Polo part.

Please don't start multiple threads asking the same thing! ;)

Have a 50mm splitter + bar. Has a few scuffs, but is in good solid condition with no cracks/splits. Would be looking for £40. Wouldn't want to post though- where are you?
-
Bought it from DaveStorm, who's been on here and a club member for years. He had it for around 8 years and was the second owner. A couple of years ago, I told him to give me a shout if he ever had to sell up, and the rest is history 8)

Yeh, seems like a good price. The PDR is only £35 for the whole car! Just have to get the cash saved now- about halfway there at the mo- need to get on Ebay! Jim, I guess it's actually not too far from you- especially if they do a really good job. Vaughan, yep, same place in Cromhall. Thanks Chris. It is nice- the interior especially so- not quite as nice as yours though! Hopefully when the paint is done, it'll be up to scratch ;)

Little update: Drop links snapped, so replaced them both. Ended up sawing the n/s one off  Reckon it needs new tie rod ends as they look a bit past it! There is also a little 'ping/click' coming from under the middle sometimes- reckon the n/s inner cv may be on it's way out. Hopefully it's all OK enough to pass the MOT next week. Have talked to CrazyDave about changing the Stealth map as it lacks low/midrange grunt, although this may now have to wait a while due to the paint... Well after going to National Day on Sunday, the need for a front end respray is even more evident. The chips are terrible + there are quite a few car park dings around the car that need sorting. Got two quotes yesterday: bonnet, front wings, bumper, slam panel lip, grille, dings removed from entire car + whole car machine polish. First quote: £500 cash Second quote: £972 + VAT! Yikes! Will be going with the first one- they have a very good rep, and looking around the premises at the other cars they've been working, I was mightily impressed. The quality looks excellent. The other place also has a good rep, but the extra expense seemed more than a little over the top- almost twice the price! ---------- Post added at 08:36 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:32 AM ---------- Think I may also lose the eyebrow... So, things to do: MOT! Front end paint/dings/machine polish Tie rod ends Possibly inner CV Seats out for a clean Carpets out for a clean Check/patch up underseal

Corrado Club National Day reminder Sunday 24th July
CazzaVR replied to Butterfly's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Thought the commentators were immense too  -
You've already started two threads in this section, one of which was purely a For Sale ad. Jim has pointed you in the direction of the classifieds and you now have one. There is absolutely no need to start multiple threads in the Newbies section... unless of course the sole purpose is to advertise your car for sale  LOCKED

Did you also discover that it turns off when you close it? You don't need to use the switch :)

Let's get some early ones made up too then! They're more flimsy than the late ones. -

The late inner door pull handle surrounds! Early ones are a couple of quid from VW, whereas the late ones are around £50. Utter madness. Should be a cheap and simple part to make out of CF 8) -
While we're at it- do they do the VR6 hoses separately? Just need the top rad hose...

Well done mate- next time you'll be able to do it in half the time ;)
