Jim's Corrado - ciao to the Fiat! Hello to.. (P64)

That's well annoying :( Fingers crossed it just needs a bit more time to run in properly... -
Thanks for coming on and giving an honest appraisal of the situation, Darren. Sounds like you're actively addressing the probs and getting back on track- nice that you're offering to help out with techie advice on here too- much appreciated :salute:

Have a good read of the Suspension Discussion Thread- been discussed to death! http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?23595-The-Suspension-Discussion-Thread

Seats look interesting, Jake. Will be interested to see how they look fitted 8) When you go to DG would you be able to pick up the Westwood centre caps for me please? ;)
-
Gotta say, when I bought a Valeo one from GSF, I compared it to the original, and I couldn't tell much of a difference, apart from the new one looked a little more robust.

212bhp with remap, BMC, Magnex and Cams. Will be changing the map soon, so will be interesting to see what happens...

You'll have plenty of choice! Loads of those types of cars within your budget these days- amazing what you can get for the money. Shame that all the big Lexus' seem to be autos, or they'd be a good shout. Plenty of A6s, X-types etc around too 8) -

Ooooh, nice pic Mr Bailey! 8) What are you thinking of for a daily? Staying VAG or casting your net further afield? Don't discount Hondas :) -
The later fogs come built into a plastic surround that the indicator sits in. The earlier ones are completely separate, and slightly different in shape.
-
Looking forward to seeing these! 8)

The grille will need one of the bottom tabs removing IIRC. The light lenses and surrounds are different. Fogs/indicators are completely different units. I'd just change the grille!

Not good. Again. I'm a little surprised Darren hasn't responded to this thread, considering he knows about it. VERY bad for their rep, as it'll come up in Google as well as being very visible on here.

Yep. Bonnet, wings, bumper, grille and lights. Not exactly cheap to do, although you can offset the price by selling your front end.

Nice one, Dave- always a relief! Got mine in the next couple of weeks. Will keep you posted on the rust- thanks for your offer- hopefully it won't need welding though!

Really want to get a 3.68 at some stage! Going back a few posts, I've just gone from a VR6 with BMC & DG remap to a VR fitted with 263s, Magnex, BMC and Stealth remap. There is quite a difference to be honest. The DG car definately felt quicker, with much better torque throughout the range. I noticed a similar difference when changing the previous VR from an AmD map to the DG map. For me, the DG map is far superior to the others! My current car, although reasonably quick with smooth delivery, feels asthmatic in comparison to my last one. Gonna get Dave to remap the current car for sure...

Brilliant work, Dave :salute: Looks perfect! Fancy doing mine? ;) Just discovered mine has some rot in exactly the same place- not sure how bad exactly, but doesn't look good :(

Hi Ben, I've had blank messages too- must be some software issue. Hmmm....

Spotted Domwell's G60 outside my school this afternoon 8) - was hammering with rain so couldn't have a decent look :(

Listening to the SBTRKT album a lot at the mo, as well as Janelle Monae. Also still loving Toomorrow by Wagon Christ (Luke Vibert).

Yay! Glad to hear it! 8)
