Nice seeing u guys when we got to Newport lol, shame it wasn't sooner could've cruised back with u lol!! :lol: Yeh Dubmeister isn't far from me so was gonna give em in by hand, then decided to post em (coz it says faxing isn't allowed), but when I phoned em they said just fax em through!! Bish Bash Bosch and my plates arrived! :clap: Then I just had to get the old ones off... :|

Yeh I had my German pressed plates on for a couple o' months, then I got pulled over on the 1st July for them. The law changed on the 30th June from a £30 fine to a £60. So the officer was loving that lol. When he got out his 'calibrated plastic square' to show me how my lettering was too small, he realised they were the right size :lol: :lol: So that was 1 to me, but still got the fine lol. At the end of the day I had no arguement, I knew they were illegal and that was the law, so I coughed up and paid. I ordered mine from Dubmeister in the next couple o' days, £30+6 postage for both methinks. But I didn't order mine till like 3pm Thurs, and they were with me the following day!

Cheers Andy mate! Yeh Im quite liking the black badges - Im aiming for the smoked look so think it goes well. Not sure about the front VR badge tho? Im gonna get a cheap one (haha, do they exist?!) and spray it black and see if it works or not. U'll be able to see it but it'll just be extra subtle i reckon...what do u think? Im also tempted to spray the top half of the original rear lights black too, see how that works out...

Hi mate - I've located and received a new VAG N/S wishbone from someone on here, im waiting to find a good price for a genuine VAG O/S wishbone and then i'll be putting them on...so alas I can't tell u yet! My best quote was like £98+VAT for each side and I can't quite afford that! It sounds like u've got the same problem as me, I think its the bushes. But instead of replacing them Id like to fit new wishbones coz the undersides a little corroded. With regards to the driving experience, nothing but good can come out of it i guess! But Im most certainly not a mechanic so can't give u insight there either unfortunately... :( Let me know if u do get this sorted out before me and how it went, and i'll be doing the same on this thread (hopefully!!) soon...!

U didn't happen to notice the reg did u? Wasn't something like MJ G60 ? Could well have been, was tryin to make it out but couldn't see it properly as it didn't look normal! Nice plate, take it that was you? 8) Nope not me, but I had a chat with the guy who owns it whilst cruising through motorway traffic @ 40mph'ish' a while back when i 1st bought mine, then stopped off in Brizzle for a little chat! :lol: His name was Matt J, hence the no.plate and he was a proper legend, but he said he rarely comes on the forum :(
