If you had £3k to spend on your Corrado....
OllieVR6 replied to OllieVR6's topic in General Car Chat
Plus I bet you can't get one for the 3k you just spent ^^ -
....How would you spend it? You're not allowed to spend it on anything else, and you're not allowed to sell up and combine funds to buy a different car. Would you spend on engine? Paint? Something else? Let's hear it! Personally I'd be looking to fix my leaky windscreen, upgrade the brakes all round, refurb the alloys, upgrade the stereo and get a couple of bits painted. Nothing exciting for me, but I'm a bit behind some of you :)

Happy Birthday!

Thanks for all the info. I called my local dealer and he said they don't sell any branded mats but recommended http://www.thettshop.co.uk/ which seems pretty good!

Hey guys, I know some of you own or have owned MK1 TT's so I am after some ideas please. My dad has just purchased a black 2005 150bhp TT soft top, (probably the best car he has ever owned having had crap family cars for the last 20 years) and as it is his birthday on Saturday I am looking for some ideas. It is a very basic model and first on the list is some nice floor mats. Can I get some branded ones like the VW stitched 'Corrado' mats? I have vagcom for my C, can I do anything cool with it? I have read you can enable a total closure (I need to check if this is already enabled ofc), is this easy to do? He isn't the kind of person to want to make it go faster or change the wheels or anything like that so it will be a nice clean and tidy example (well once I have given it a good detailing). There are always quick cheap mods that can be done to standard cars to make them a little better than the rest, so this is the sort of thing I am looking for. Thanks in advance!

I had no idea airbags had a shelf life!! -
What prices are we looking at?

Hmm, I was thinking of removing mine altogether...I have seen someone else here that didn't refit them after a respray and really liked the look. I'm thinking of getting some of that clear wrap to protect the area from scratches.

Likewise!!

Interior: Different dials for heater controls - Early has sliders, late has round dials Window switches moved from door card to speaker pods, early > late Exterior: Early - 7 slat grill, Late - 3 slat Bulge on the bonnet goes up not down on late That's about it

Buy it! You are still one of the only people to have posted on my build thread ^^ (it's not very exciting).

Hi mate, I'm in exactly the same situation (except I get a river in my car everytime it rains!). I'll be interested to see suggestions also.

Hi Pete, Welcome to Corrado ownership. Kind regards, The rest of us. :) Seriously though, I know exactly what you mean. I posted something similar to this about 6 months ago!

The clues in the name amirite?
-
Oooh nice, is that an airbag? That's rare isn't it? And what's with the glove box? That's a fine example, are there many C's in Austria?
-
Got mine today as well, thanks muchly!

Home made.

Two of the best Corrados in the world right there!
-
I'm looking forward to fitting these but my radiator has HAD it, which means that I dare not touch it or it may give up completely. A new or refurbished one will be going on when funds allow so I'll fit mine when that happens.

Try this thread mate: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?44058-Corrado-Spotting!-Was-it-you

Thanks for all your hard work Andy. And for the rest of you (if you use it), may I suggest you follow THE Corrado Forum on twitter, saves hammering F5 :)
