  1. Well make sure the next one is what you want :) Now you know what to look for.
  2. Rob! If you do this I hope your getting another one! What about the one we talked about the other evening?
  3. God, please change the thread title! I thought someone was dead!!
  4. Those Rota's are just so 'right' on the Corrado!
  5. I want to do some sound proofing, but from what I've read, doing the whole car is pointless. I think Kev did his whole car at some point and has since removed most if not all of it. I think best value for money, whatever the product, is fitting the right size/shape piece to the right place. I think if you were running one of those audiophile show cars then you might want to do the whole car but I'm guessing you just want it to sound good whilst your booting about?
  6. I see a white Corrado (unsure of model) in the Farnborough Asda car park most evenings. Its always there and it's always late so someone must work either in Asda or Blockbusters?
  7. It passed, woooo!! Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  8. The leather ones were available from VW about 12 months ago (I bought one). I don't have the number to hand but it was pricey, I think it came in at about £27.
  9. Well I have finally booked the C for MOT, it expired months ago and has been sitting ever since. It's been a long time coming, I have been putting it off as I'm worried it will fail....but if I don't get it done, I'll never know I spose. Anyone else get nervous at MOT time? I know it's stupid, but just can't help it! Made worse as this is the first time I have used this test station, the guy I used to go to appears to have dropped off the face of the earth
  10. No problem, if you change your mind, give me a shout.

    Kwik Fit

I've just finished a years policy with Kwik Fit on my daily. Never had any problems with them, added my learner girlfriend to the policy for not a lot extra and then also some business mileage. I didn't renew as they put the premium up to nearly £1k this year (for a 27yr old with 4 years NCB on a 1.2 clio valued at £1500) lol! And no free brake pads :(
  12. I'm not sure I can help as I have some stuff planned but I can lend you some spring compressors and a couple of the bespoke tools that you need if you want? I did mine a couple of months ago, on my drive, having never attempted anything like it before. It took a while but was pretty easy! Happy to give you a run down of how/what I did if you are interested?
  13. I keep seeing a Corrado on my way home from work. I drive from Woking to Chobham at about 6pm and I have passed the same one, two or three times now going towards Woking. Not sure what type or the exact colour but its grey and low. You wont have seen me as I don't use the C at the moment so I'm in a Clio.
  14. I'm also suffering from a leaking windscreen and have seen a few threads about it over the years. I've resided to the fact that I'm going to have to take the windscreen out, get the metal repaired and then have the screen re-fitted with new seals. It's one of the highest jobs on my to do list. Interestingly I bumped into the previous owner at lunch time the other day and he said that he had work done in that area before, so I'm guessing they didn't do a very good job :( I've also tried putting sealant in the gap and yes, that made it worse. Just need the funds to get it done now, not expecting it to be cheap.
  15. Gorgeous cars, and that is a lovely colour! If they ever make one with 4 motion I'll be first in line!
  16. Do you want to come and do mine? ;) Body work is the only thing I can't try myself as I haven't got a welder and I've never welded in my life :(
  17. That's amazing! How did you do that?
  18. Ok. Is that something to worry about on a car used regularly? I mean it's not at the moment, but it will be once it's MOT'd and I actually prefer the look of the standard callipers to the mk4 versions.
