Hi mate, got a whole front panel from an early spec car, dead straight and solid, little patch of surface rust in one spot but that's it. I'm in Wales but from Cornwall originally so regularly drive down that way so could meet at a convenient point off the A30.

I'm trying to remove the dials from my early 16v Corrado but am having difficulty getting them out of the dash. All the screws are removed and the cluster is loose, but it seems like it won't fit through the gap! I've tried different angles, etc, took a picture below of what seemed like the most likely way of them coming out, but it still seems too tight and feels like the cluster will break. Can anyone give me a many pointers?

Early VW Volkswagen Corrado front slam panel I have for sale a front panel removed from an early VW Corrado. The panel is in good condition and completely straight, no sign of damage at all. There is a small amount of surface rust which I have pictured but it is only surface rust so with a bit of treatment it will be fine. Due to the size of the item local pickup would be preferred but will post at buyer's expense. Iif you have any questions or would like some more photos feel free to ask. Bumper brake ducts removed from early 16v Corrado I have for sale a pair of brake ducts removed from a 1990 16v Corrado. These mount on the bumper and the inner arch liner to direct cool air to the brakes. I think one of the tabs has broken off where it bolt to the inner arch liner but the duct was still very secure if this is the case. Other than that they are in very good condition. Any questions or if you would like more photos feel free to ask. What sort of condition are the indicators in and how much would you want for them posted? -
I eventually managed to post an ad, over an hour after starting! I'm hoping it's just teething problems and they get sorted soon because it's not a fun way to spend an evening.

The new classifieds are the most infuriating thing I've ever tried to use. Firstly, I had to resize all my photos because they were too big to upload, then I had to download Google Chrome because I kept getting error messages when I tried to preview my post in both Safari and IE. Then when I finally managed to get an ad ready to post, I get another error message saying I can't post my ad nor save it. In total I've wasted almost an hour of my evening and got absolutely nowhere where as I'd have had my ad posted in minutes with the old system. Rant over!

Early Corrado grey parcel shelf in excellent condition

Funny enough I bumped in to him last night and asked about his seats, he did plan on using Corrado subframes but struggled to find some so ended up cutting and welding the existing A3 subframe to fit the Mk2 runners which also needed some cutting and welding, as did the bit at the front of the seat base that stops the seats sliding all the way out so a fair bit of work!
-
I know someone who's fitted them into their Mk2, they used Corrado subframes welded to the bottom of the A3 seats to get it to sit as low as possible and it's still a little higher than standard Mk2 seats, think you'll struggle to get them sitting low enough in a Corrado.

I've used EBC Yellowstuff pads for a while now on my Mk2 track car with G60 brake setup. For the price, they are brilliant, work well from cold, never had issues of them fading, don't produce too much dust and are nice a quite. Last quite a long time as well. The car is pretty light compared to a full interiored Corrado but it's still managed 4 trackdays and 15k miles road use with enough meat left on the pads for another trackday.

You'll need 4 stud Mk3 stuff, not GTI/VR6. For the rear, there's so many conflicting arguments as to whether there are any Mk3 or Corrado rear axles that are noticbly wider than the Mk2 items, there's a huge thread about it over on the Club GTI forum. Either way, you'll need stub axle spacers to spacer the rear out to match the front. Lupo stub axles can be used, or you can get some made up for not too much.

I have for sale an uprated headlight loom to fit either a Mk2 Golf or Corrado. I had this fitted to my Corrado which improved the performance of the headlights massively, only selling now as I'm breaking the Corrado and already have another one of these fitted to my Mk2. The loom is still in perfect condition, comes with fitting instructions as well. Pictures below. Price is £20 plus postage, collection welcome from Barry, South Wales.

I have for sale a main fuel pump (located under the car) removed from a 16v Mk2 Golf. I bought this as a replacement for the pump on my 16v Corrado, but I'm now breaking it so it's no longer needed. Was in good working order when it was removed. Pictures are below. Price is £50 plus postage, collection welcome, located in Barry, South Wales.
