keeping them for winter so i can get these refurbed i swapped my old 17`s for BBS 15`s and it was 10x better, i`ve since changed the suspension and these 16`s have good tyres (rainsports) which i think is helping the matter i`ve had the suspension about a year now mate and it is settling in, front still a tad too high and i got some spring plates to go on but i`ve heard negative things about `em... we`ll see. TBH the pic in my sig is a good one making it look lower than it is

dr forinor 16 x 7 mate lowered 30mm on koni/H&R surprised actually as i think it rides better on the 16`s than 15`s didnt like it on 17`s but it could be down to the tyres i reckon

right then time for an update: gauges all fitted and working with dash light changed to match the reddish audi colour (cheers Riley) had a dent man go to work on my car through a mate @ Jag £50 and he got a shocker outta my bonnet, few on the rear flanks and loads in the doors, and today i`ve been burning away in the sun geting some new-ish wheels fitted very happy!!!! ben

you can check speed using the MFA by getting onto the average speed screen and resetting it while you stay at a constant speed, it`ll take a few seconds then it`ll pop up showing you how much your out (roughly) and to check your rev counter in MFA position 2 turn ign on hold MFA button turn off ign still hold button then start the car still holding the buton i think 2 clicks on the mfa will give you a digital rev counter

just had mine done through a mate who works for Jag, my doors were awful and had a nasty one on my bonnet from an idiot jump starting my car with it in gear! very pleased

this is the part you need, parts gateway have a couple about 30 quid when i checked. basically drill out 3 rivets for the moter, 4 on the arm, pull the 2 lugs out of the plastic wheels on the bottom of the window. with the window up you can see 2 10mm bolts through the round holes in your pic that hold it to the window, undo these to get the old one out and the new one in you need to put it in sideway and just wiggle/force/ lie on the floor swearing ... etc took me a couple of hours today not having done one before!! hth ben got my rivet gun of ebay £6 inc postage

did mine today proper pain in the ass!!! got the part on here second hand, new is a ridiculos price, quite staright forward just very awkward!!!

getting mine done next weekend, but the doors can be a pain apparently as the line iis so sharp that paint can just flick off!! my doors are pretty bad so i`m getting it done anyway... pick to follow next MON/TUE
