bit ot but what kind of amp would be best to power componants for the front? 2 channel? wattage?? where do you put the amp? in the boot with 2 sets of cables running up and down? i got an alpine HU, maystar?? comps, sony 10" and amp thanks

has it got an after market oil cooler fitted? i reckon as long as the oil does get up to temp your ok

yes mate, the twin pole sender sorts that out (what you can see in the top pic)the left hand wire is the original one that goes to the dash when i still had the brown sender in the light was flashing and beeping but keeping the white one (behing the twin pole one sorted that out) everything works as standard just with addition of the gauges ben

just done mine using audi VDO only did oil pressure and voltage (1.8 16v KR) get some reasonable gauge wire and some female ends remove the brown sender on the oil filter housing and replace with the twin pole sender that matches up with your gauge (i had to put my white sender at the back cos there was no room) run a wire through the bulkhead take power from and ignition live (you`ll need a multi meter for this) get a good earth take power for the bulbs from somewhere on the heater control panel so they dim with the rest of your dash the power for the other gauge just daisy chain

ifits secure in the boot, it could be a problem with the gauges itself, like the needle not on the pin properly?

yeah check spark, but dont rule out an ignition switch, mine went after a bit of fiddling my car :lol: just a coincidence but i was sure it was cos of me

i`d check the pump and float arm are securely fixed in the boot
