  1. I shouldn't worry. You got a result.
  2. Where are you? Can I take pictures? :)
  3. Drool seconded. BTW, I'll see your 45,000 and, er, 'raise' you. 1986 D Reg VOLKSWAGEN Scirocco GT II - 42,000 :) Though somehow I doubt it's a GTII on a D plate, more likely a straight GT.
  4. I was sorely tempted by a 1992 pearlescent green Scala going for £995 on Autotrader last week with only 70,000 on the clock. Trouble was it was in Leeds and I'd have some trouble explaining buying another Rocco to my gf, two weeks before we complete on a house in Surrey together ;)
  5. Just a few - about 80,000 more.
  6. Ah that's why I never saw it. £1650! ... nah. It looks lovely. I reckon you could eat your dinner off that engine bay. Helios blue is a lovely colour on a Rocco, like my old GTII. Second only to Pearlescent green (like my Scala :)) [Edit: time to turn on my sig]
  7. 45K? Nice one ;) Was that on eBay or something? (and how come I didn't spot it?)
  8. Question put on NR. However, as he said it had no MOT or insurance I assume it was parked off road, so the council shouldn't have had rights to tow it away (surely?)
  9. [with apologies to Shakespeare]

    Gas mileage

1 US Gallon = 1.20095 Imperial Gallons, so your 27 MPG translates to 32.43 MPG in the UK. If you hit 30 MPG, you'd be getting the equivalent of over 36 MPG here.
  11. Hmmm. Well Russboy on No-Rice took his Leon Cupra R up to Trax with approx 90 other Seats and won first in the Show 'n' Shine :) http://norice.altrezia.com/index.php?p=vt&tid=1479
  12. I'm with the others - the top pic is fab :) Just a suggestion: you might try not putting the car in the centre of the frame. It will make for a more dynamic composition.
  13. I'm with the others - the top pic is fab :)
  14. Sorry :( I was only there for the day on Saturday Edit: Have you changed your wheels. Looks like Ted from Dub Club did spot you if you have... http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=3 ... ion_page=Y
  15. I think just about everyone here was at Ed 38, but there were a couple of Corrados on site at Action. Click! to see everything. Here's a few as a taster.
  16. "did I mention I knackered the engine on my last car!! Oil, oil, oil. Must remember oil!"

    Superleggeras

And there was me thinking you meant one of these when I read the thread title... http://212.135.24.146/picturepost/nr/sp ... _3840.html :)
  18. Borrow a standard Scirocco for a few days and you'll change your mind about dim lights on a Corrado :)
  19. Philistines! :) It's a fair cop. I deliberately set out to make this month's NR photos a lot more abstract. There's other people doing fine more, er, conventional pictures http://norice.topcities.com/index.php?m=10&aid=78 @ JimsG60: Ed 38 is probably the next show I'm going to. Just in the process of completing on the purchase of a house, so things are a bit hectic at the moment. Then again, my gf's family live in Coventry. I wonder if I could swing it...? :)
  20. Here ya go. :) http://cybertects-2.dsl1.easynet.co.uk/ ... 040811_nr/ and a few samples Apologies in advance to the 'C' crew... for some reason my shots of Corrados this month weren't up to scratch so you won't see many in there.
  21. AFAIK, only 10 were imported officially through VW dealer channels, some of them being converted to RHD at the dealership before sale. There's been a few brought over privately and obviously a number of after-market conversions have happened since. One of the Bell & Colville imports was for sale on sciroccoworld.org in May.
  22. Indeed, he designed the Tiger. That's him with the hat on top of the tank, apparently.
  23. Mickael's 74 Mk 1 Rocco http://dubforce.net/gallery/mania/daz/dscf0938.html Drool! :)
