  1. Now have parts!! Its the barcket that goes from the block to charger on a rado. Also need the small bracket that sits on the t/b,Its the bottom right in pic below. Pm me if you have what i need please
  2. i have the 80% in my clio and the 100% in my mk2 golf and as said above they are a must if you want to see the road at night!
  3. I just fitted an sns chip and 3.5bar fpr, 100 times better than the jabba chip that came out!! You wont need injectors unless theres more done to your engine that you havent listed. If its not going to cost you anything might as well get them referb/cleaned If John is close to you i would go with John, aswell as the chip he'll be able to set up your engine to make the most of it!
  4. Is water getting to your ecu? Ide spray the ecu contacts aswell while your at it.
  5. I was in contact with bbm 6or7 weeks ago and they will sort you out. I was offered a very good price on the item i asked about + good deal on postage! [email protected]
  6. The stuff gwerks sent me a few years ago is from wurth but its a white ptfe spray, not clear like in the link above

  8. Thanks for the replys lads!! Waiting on a few emails and pm's so im half way sorted :)
  9. Not sure what car they come from but part number is listed below. 3.5 FPR - 0 280 160 263 - (Bosch) Pm me if you have one. Thanks, Paudie
  10. Whats the correct torque when tightening the top nut for a g60 top mount? Also i read somewhere that a small bit of grease should be applied to the rubber area that come's in contact with the body of the car to prevent noise!? Is this correct??
  11. Got the car out for a spin yesterday,it is a fueling issue. On light throttle all feels good. On part to 3/4 throttle i was getting the "miss feeling",seemed to happen more when i was in a high gear @ low revs!! On full throttle car feels like its being held back! Cleaned down the earths and refitted the g40 plugs, wasnt able to do much else. Going to double check the co pot tomorrow, replace the vac lines and make sure i dont have a boost leak. Edit; turned out to be week spark caused by 3 crap leads!
  12. I may have the same issue but its only popped up in the last couple of 100 miles! Plan is to get the car onto a rolling road once the engine is broken in and get an SNS chip made up after if needed and going on the above looks like i'll need one to correct the fueling
  13. Plugs and engine only covered about 500 miles so far sense the engines been rebuild! Only got round to sorting the ignition timing after 200 miles so she was running retarded upto that point. Spec on engine is stage4 charger,68mm pulley, jabba chip, standard injectors and fpr, lightly ported head, piper cam, sprinter intercooler and new bosh lambda sensor
  14. Yea my name is Paudie, why so? And never noticed the spelling mistake, thanks for pointing that out! ---------- Post added at 08:40 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:39 AM ---------- Found one in the box of spares, its about as thick as the nology lead so i presumed it was part of the set
  15. Thanks for the reply lads! Throwing the gun on it again tomorrow and will take it for a spin with g60 plugs to see how we get on.
  16. Bringing this back from the dead!! After reading the whole thing i have a quick question, My timing was set up according to autodata with a timing light so i presume its at 6deg btcd!? The car ran so much better after this so happy out. My question is that my engine has a small bit of work done so will it still be ok at 6deg? Reason i ask is in th2 300 miles sense the ignition timing was set ive developed a slight miss up tru the revs. Did a compression test sunday {125 across all4} and the plugs dont look good! All 4 look like this, Is the issue with my ingition timing?
  17. May consider a full set or a full set of magnecor leads.
  18. Standard box and filter for me! Is the dump valve kit just a blanking plate for the charger? They work well but the noise gets annoying!
  19. Found a set of nology leads in my spares last night but i need to replace the shortest one and the king lead. Does anyone have these spare from an incomplete set?? There the thick blue leads with an earth strap to the head. If you have what im after can you pm me please. Thanks
  20. I have a white G60 in cork, too of the lads across the road have 4-5 between them and i met a gray 16v in kilarney yesterday :)
  21. If they sent to ireland ide be buying 2or3 of that!! It costs me about 30euro for 4/5L of castrol magnatec!!! Gona ring vw later to see how much it costs here!!
  22. umm, difficult to compare as mine was fitted to my 1940cc 252bhp lump! I did have a thermo take off plate in there though, so it would still warm up to around 85 but very rarely get over that unless I was giving it death... sounds like you either don't have a thermo plate on there, or the thermo in it has jammed open if you're not getting it over 80 degrees.. I never tought of the thermo being jammed open!! It acted the same way when fitted new to the 8vG so i took no notice! The temp stays round 76 tho,if the therno was jammed open would the temp not go below 70 when driving? If it stops raining here tomorrow i'll have a go at half blocking it to see what happens :)
  23. Thats where i plan to mount mine when the time comes! What was the temp like on normal driving?? On my mk2 its front mounted in air flow and i only get above 76 if in traffic or at idle, bit low for my liking!! Car is only used for normal daily driving so thinking of blocking half the cooler to see if i can get the temp between 80 and 90 :D
  24. I usually go with 32 front and back! Not sure why, think someone said to run them at that { 195-55-15} Roads here in ireland are s**t,if i run anything like 36-38 ide end up in a ditch if i hit a pothole :( What should i be running?? I want her smooth on the road and the tyre to last :)
  25. Must make a note of the part number, need a set for my yoke :D
