Anyone know if Graham is still trading? Called the unit a few weeks back and there was an answerphone message about taking on an external contract and that he wouldn't be at the unit everyday. Just called and the number is no longer recognised :(

Asking £700 for the lot, quick sale, gone in one go. £500 for the car without the extras. Will need towing away. Will sell off the parts separately soon if it doesn't sell and then scrap the car. _______________________________________ Hi all, My well loved 8v needs a new home. I have bought an R32 and simply don't have the space or time to keep on top of the old lass. I've spent a lot of money, time and effort on her in the last 4 years but she's starting to look a bit sad now. I've done roughly 22k in her over 4 years ownership. Very looked after until I've let things slide in the past 6 months. Never broken down on me, engine seems to be bulletproof. Regular service items is all it's ever needed really. There's probably bits I've missed off the below but the bulk should be present and correct. The Basics: Location: West Midlands Model - 2.0l 8v Year - 1995 Miles - 142k Colour - Twilight Violet MOT - Expired Tax - SORNed Service History - Part. Since taking ownership of her I have done services myself. Most other work carried out at DG Autotech. The Good: Outside • Clear Side Repeaters • Crystal/Red Rear Clusters • Azev A 16's - 3 good tyres. (Need kerbing sorting to be perfect. I can get this done by the place I used before - price tbn) • Badgeless Grill - Brand new 2yrs ago. • SWG Scuttle Panel • New Front Wiper Motor & Linkage Replacement - 2yrs old • Audi TT Wipers - 2yrs old, blades pretty new • New VW Foliage Seal - 3yrs old • Satin Black Rear Badges - not perfect anymore but not too tatty • New Arial Base Seal - 3yrs old • New VW Ignition Switch - 3yrs ago • New cam belt - 3yrs ago • Rear Brake Pads, Discs and Compensator - approx. 20k/3yrs ago • DG Autotech Headlight Loom - approx. 2yrs ago • Vibratechnics Front Engine Mount - approx. 3yrs ago • KW Springs and Shocks Refurbed in Por15 & PlastiDip Paint - approx. 20k/3yrs ago. No signs of corrosion • New VW Top Mounts and Bearings - approx. 3yrs ago • New VW Ignition Coil - approx. 2yrs ago • New VW Drop Links - approx. 10k/2yrs ago • New VW Lambda Sensor - approx. 2yrs ago • Magnecor Ignition Leads - approx. 4k/1yr ago Inside • Daves16v Handbrake Tunnel Fix • Colour coded Momo Gear Knob & Gaiter • Daves16v Satin Aluminum Base • VR6 Leather Steering Wheel - Good condition • New Headlight Switch • Window Rollers Replaced on both sides • Humped rear bench • Retrimmed Headlining in Anthracite Faux Suede • Replaced all under carpet sound deadening with new material • Sound deadened drivers door (passenger will need doing as replaced - see below) • Custom MDF Door speaker baffles. Attached to door skin, hidden behind door card. • Custom MDF Tweeter baffles in original location on dash. Grills replaced with audio fabric. • PHD 5.25" Components • Custom MDF Amp rack with fibreglass cover (this isn't the best workmanship but it does its job). • Boston Acoustics 4 channel amp The Bad: In April 2012 a Taxi Driver pulled out on me. Long story short - minimal damage to front quarter but was written off. I sourced replacement panels off this site and had the car repaired and front end resprayed. All clips, screws, bolts etc were brand new from VW and I had the front bumper iron powder coated at the same time. The car was VOSA checked, MOT'd and all good to go back on the road. Due to this it is a CAT D. I have had no problems insuring it since this incident. Before and after pics: The Ugly: In September 2013 some lowlife decided they'd break into my beloved - smashing the passenger window, bending the door frame back and ripping out my headunit and stealing some low value personal stuff from my glovebox. Due to the way they'd bent the door it was scrapped and I sourced a replacement off CrazyDave. Graham at DG Autotech fitted it, made sure all the wiring worked as it should and also sorted the loom they had buggered when ripping the headunit out. Didn't bother claiming as it would've cost me more pain than it was worth. Isn't insurance great! Outcome is that the new door is solid and fully functional but will need respraying to match. Before and after pics: Extras: I've accumulated a fair few parts over the ownership. These are: • Oettinger back box with oval tip • Full 280mm front brake set up (Brembo discs, Tarox pads, Refurbed Calipers, New Big Red seals, Refurbed dust shields, Goodridge hoses • Rear MK4 Brake set up (Greenstuff pads, Goodridge converter hoses, part-refurbed calipers • Daves16v door repair kit (both sides) • Daves16v Short shifter • Daves16v rear hump braket • Brand new heater controls (from a Passat I think so dials are the other way round but I've been told they'll work fine. Will need to obtain a LHD faceplate) • Centre console in reasonable condition • Custom fibreglass sub enclosure with baffle for 10inch sub. Baffle can be removed to fit 12inch sub. • New JBL 10" GT4 Sub • Some sound deadening material left over • New sachs clutch • Set of Westwood (standard) alloy wheels (all tyres need replacement) • Standard rear light clusters • Polished fuel rail • New alternator • New et of NGK spark plugs and oil filter • Spare head with various ancillaries • Various engine brackets, subframe and 'bits' I could break the car, and potentially make more money, but I'd really like it to go to a good home before the winter sets in. Most of the parts are there to bring her back to life along with a bit of paint and she'll be good for years to come hopefully. PM me with any questions etc.

So 'that' time has come. With what seems like less and less spare time in my life to maintain (what I'll say has been a bloody reliable old lass), the Corrado will be looking for a new home. Some modifications have been made since my last update to this thread, mainly some scumbags breaking in, wrecking my n/s door completely and taking various things. *******s. I'll detail in the FS thread I'll put up very soon. On the plus side, I have a MK4 R32 sitting on my drive. Fun times!

Cheers both. The coil was changed about 2 years ago for a new VW one but suppose it could've gone again. I do change plugs every 6 months or so. As it happens I have a brand new distributor. As I'm mechanically inept and I'm assuming the spline at the bottom of the distributor connects to something involved in the timing of the engine I'll get a local mechanic to change it over. Will try that first and then if no better will get a new coil. thanks again.
