  1. A friend sent this to me... not my cup of tea https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1913824558877019
  2. Like the look but not exactly value for money at circa £900!
  3. Looks okay the trumpet should butt up to the latch snugly (slight pressure/ no slack) Where is it snapping? My advice would be to lube everything! Bonnet pins, latches, springs, inside of sleeves and don't over tighten the trumpet nut, check it isnt cutting into wire.
  4. Looking good Kev, was tempted with one of these the other week, nice motors. Need a good daily for the winter, the van just ain't cutting it at the mo! BTW the old girl is still going strong a testament to your hard work, only things gone wrong have been niggly electrical issues all relay related. Which if you don't mind me hijacking the thread for one question... on the aux water pump there is a relay which is controlled by the ECU, pin 48, if I'm not mistaken. What tells the ECU to turn this relay on? Tried looking for a pin out for the ME7 lots of conflicting information.
  5. I know! I can pay for delivery
  6. Ah missed that key detail! 5x100 buddy, got one of them?
  7. Hi All, Want a space saver wheel 125/70/R15, I haven't had one since I bought the old girl, have tried the ebay no joy, show me what you got. Thanks.
  8. Beautiful Corrado, if I could get mine to such a high standard I would be happy with myself (and mine is no dog), quick someone buy it, its too tempting to have another R32!
  9. Great photos! Had a great time there too although mine wasn't in the show n shine. Some rocket corrados on the strip too, that one with flared arches was a monster!
  10. Same problem with me too, however if you rest a block of wood on the seal and apply some gentle persuasion with a hammer you can get it to sit more snugly. It is much easier to do this if you drop the glass out of the runner first!
  11. As above really I require both front grey leather door cards off of a late model, must be free of major cuts, tears and any other nastys. Show me what you got. Cheers Paul
  12. Not exactly to but for.. Used some old timber I had lying around to make some low access ramps, totally free and work a treat, afternoon well spent! Just need to work on the up ramp still a little sketchy!
  13. Graham sykes are quite reasonable...
  14. Wow time flies! Have some updates for you: -The big one is that the throttle has been fixed woooo! Turns out it was just a misbehaving connector Kev! So 6 months to diagnose a faulty connector not bad going but at least it didn't cost me an arm and a leg, electrician only charged me an hours labour! -Car has mostly been in hibernation but managed to get round to sorting out a snapped bonnet release cable today TOP TIP - if yours snaps or want a spare then get yourself a cable from an Audi 100, much cheaper than finding a Corrado one! The only difference is the cable and sheath are slightly longer than the Corrado but you can reuse the old sheath and cut the cable. Got some stainless steel horns to go on there too, here they are: Mmm Horny
  15. garagedoorsonline.co.uk not cheap though but as I saved a lot of money by building the garage myself thought I'd splash out on something nice.
  16. Reposted with photos this time! Think its about time for an update :) so over last winter decided to build a little home for the Rado. Started out with this: To this Had a break for a while and picked myself a second project: 1.9td 91k, got it for a daily driver not exactly refined but is hugely practical. Back to shed building: Garage now has a door That's pretty much where I am with that at the moment. Car is still at the garage but we have now narrowed it down to an intermittent wiring fault or relay issue specifically on the injector side of things, hopefully have her back soon has been a right saga!
  17. Eureka, photos are a coming! That was the most drawn out procedure ever!
  18. Thanks bud, now I just need someone with a working pedal to do a swap with, this could be tricky :-?
  19. Interesting theory. I have a floor mounted jobby. There is a certain amount of cutting to get the pedal to fit the floor do you reckon it could be down to the vibration from cutting it up to get it to fit?
  20. So does anyone have experience of getting pictures from onedrive on to here? I'm sure it's possible but my attempts have failed!
  21. Yeah that is what I was informed was replaced by a specialist vw garage but I have no proof it was new would it be possible two pedals could go fubar
  22. So my thinking that the problem was solved was wrong so it's back to the garage to get looked at again, anybody on here know anything about this?
