Agreed :) mine has a bit more poke than most VR's but the feeling is the same. I'm not saying a Corrado is perfect but then no car is, and maybe its the fact that its not perfect but ticks all the right boxes? I guess its all about how it feels on the road and whether you can live with its old school feel. To me it just has a character which most cars lack (spoken like a true fanboy!).

Not sure if this is the correct part of the forum for this but hey.. Just been out in the Corrado this evening thought I'd just give it a hoon (dont worry peeps I warmed the engine properly first) and let it clear its throat from the normal sensible drive into work :) I'm still quite new to this Corrado and its the first time I've been out in it in mildly damp conditions ( R32 engine with almost slick tyres was the reason) but she held her ground like a pro. Absolutely loving being back in a Corrado, the perfect driving position, that third gear rush, seeing the spoiler go up and all with an apocalyptic soundtrack, Heaven!

Trimsport Aluminium Billet & Carbon Fibre Parts Request Thread

Any chance of metal door pulls or do the MK2 golf ones fit? -
Agreed, the massive front grille does nothing for me. Gotta love that R8 V10 Plus advert saw it in the cinema, the noise made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

You could always put the lardy R32 on a crash diet that would make it feel a bit more lively...

If only they were black...

Do you mean a new panel with fabric or just the fabric? I have done some digging and apparently it is not possible to remove the trim panel, unless I am mistaken.

Hi, So after all the heat recently the headlining on the sunroof tilt part has started to separate, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and any possible solutions. I think its been glued up before would like to get it off and do it properly. Cheers

Definately loving being back in a Rado, since selling my first one Ive had a Golf v6 4motion, a saab 93 diesel( dont ask!), a Golf mk3 16v anni and an Impreza WRX bugeye wagon. None of those compare to the Corrado. I took one of my mates out in it, he reckons its faster than an Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Yet to be proved...

Unlucky chap this is also a route that I am looking into, would be good to see if the fitment is the same.

Hi All, Been on here for a while now but have been Corrado-less for 3 years! Until now that is :) So thought I'd introduce myself and put up a quick pic of the Rado, however I don't think she needs an introduction... Had a stupid smile on my face all the way home. Had forgotten how Corrado's just feel so right, especially when they have a tiny bit more power (she is ballistic!). First on the list is to raise her off the ground a bit, too low for my taste and the roads round here. Will be starting a thread soon...

Rare/Sought After/Desirable Corrado parts - What Ya Got?

Non sunroof headliner... -
I am trying but got the message - "quicky 1980 has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space."

Not me, trying desperately to get my hands on a solid corrado, everytime I see one driving around it makes me happy. I dont get that with any other car.
-
Looks like R32 Corrado's are in high demand :)

Gotta be worth 500 is still a very good setup
-
If thats as high as it gets it should be fine, Oils start to break down after about 120oC tho.
-
I had the retrofit ones on my corrado, you need to bend the wiper arms only slightly then they work quite well
-
I found putting your AWD ratio at 30%/70% towards the rear helps, increase your front tire pressure a little, and just experiment with the differential settings. I managed to build an S class rado 0-62 in 2.5secs . braking is still a problem tho!

cheers Fla, will look into mounts, have recently had the wheels balanced so me think its not that. should have put that in title :brickwall:

Hi All, Recently bought my first Corrado (95 VR6). She drives fine an pulls like a train :D but I am noticing a fair bit of vibration coming through the steering wheel when doing 30-50mph in 3rd and 4th and 5th and vibrating a little in other gears too but seems to go away when I put my foot down, when i dip the clutch the vibration goes away aswell. Also it has had a new clutch put in about 3 years ago. It is quite annoying and detracting from what is otherwise an absolute cracker! Is this a VR6 thing? Cause for concern? Any input welcome Cheers, Paul
