interesting this . cant find the posts though ,how do you mean sync them, i mean i know what sync means but i have the sunroof in line , wound it down manually to stop position ,before it starts to slide.then pressed and as said motor is twisting slightly trying to work ,so what you are saying makes sense. any more details thanks rob

we all go through this ,i was like it not long ago and still am a bit ,seemed to loose the love for my c .when things fall out of bed and keep doing so you just think ,christ ami ever going to get it sorted? thankfully i have good mates who have rado's and kept me sane !.keep going mate :)

do it yourself mate . if you sold your c in ,say 3 years time, just because its got service stamps does that make any difference? the bloke who buys it wont know the garage from adam, so whos to say it was done right ? and you could not do the same job [proberbly with more care] yourself. there are around five corrado's where i am and there all serviced by there owners . if i bought another c in five years time and it did not have fsh it would not put me off.however if you had a service book that was stamped by vw since new i accept this could push the money up .

mmm. went to pick it up saterday and it was to small they dont make the larger ones anymore. so got the smaller one as better than a hole in the dash.

right fitted sunroof cassette yesteday .the sunroof refuses to work all the time though. ive greased all sliding movements and it runs free when you turn it manually. ive got two motors and two switches ,tried them all swopping them around still nothing. ive moved the wires around but no loose connection.the motor and switches are doing what they are supposed to do though as you can here them clicking and trying to do there job,somtimes it will start to open then stop? any info welcome please thanks rob .

when doin sunroof the felt type seal is a pig , getting it all in is a two man job realy . where abouts in berks you based b4ljx? i moved from london to berkshire ,spent a good 20 years there before movin to devon .

:lol: mine was the same realy mint no rust nothing .only thing with mine was the air intake thingy [below windscreen] was blocked ,the sound proofing was minging ,socked n smelt like a dead animal.

thank god my matrix is fairly new! talking of nuts n screws you cant see ,how bout the dashboard nuts under the metal frame where scuttle panel is?.they must come high on the list to cause you to curse ,sweat n swear :lol:

it has to be the sunroof cassette ,sunroof and headlining what pigging nightmare! oh not to mention the glovebox! .

just been on the phone to tps they have them for £1.50 +vat if anybody needs one

thats a lovely example my mate who sold me the vr had a mk1 the same colour before the rado and still pines for it now !,think he is happy drivin the 32 though :)
