True . I just need to get a proper car cover now , one that lets it breathe, I’ve got the next door neighbors tree to contend with , no sap , but the blossom and the shedding of buds is a night mare . That is a Fantastic idea Jim . Why not spray the right colour on , leave it to dry , then rub over to top with wire wool to create the brushed look .

Still working on this chaps. Trouble is the prices are way to high at the moment.

It was brushed chrome . This was done on a rolling machine, and how you end up with the brushed look, instead of a block chrome look . These machines are few and far between these days . Which is why a repro version would be very expensive.

Yeah they do Martin . A few cock ups with screen seals , one part missing from a pack , then another arrived from Heritage and had been folded so they would not fit it as they were not happy with the seal . Third time lucky , I hope to pick it up this Saturday. I have over 80 pics from them . Once I've worked out how to save them and I have the final paint pics , I will put them on my gallery. Your headlights should have the E code inscribed on the lenses , earlier lights will have EEE inscribed on them. Have a look in the search for early/ late differences , reference to the wings .
