I can't remember if I used glyptone or furniture clinic , on my steering wheel . I prepared it really well however in a few months it started to wear on the top . Looks like I'm going to have to do it again .

Very good condition . One tiny hairline crack, a few pits but nothing serious , great condition considering they are over 25 years old . I can send pics via email , photobucket is a pita now . £100.00 for the pair plus PnP . Kind regards Rob

I know what you mean Spen . You can except stone chips n stuff , but not the sort of damage the rust worm causes, it has to be addressed. At least I know the pillars will be fine as they were replaced 7 years ago .

Its about time i updated my thread . i will be sorting out the tap talk so i can upload pics soon , as someone said photobucket want money now , to host pics ?. I need to put up the pics of the underside refurb .I managed to sort out the steering pump noise so all good there . The car was dropped off today at Resto shack today , to have the rust treated and painted . I have rust on the top of the roof right above the screen , both rear quarter windows and the rear screen , also spidering on the rear bumper . Im preying the front screen will come out without any breakages .If I'm honest i really didnt want to spend any dough on the car at this point in time , but i cannot let it go untreated , the shell will rot otherwise , its not like i have a few bubbles of rust on the wings , it is serious work that needs to be done and I'm too far in to this car money wise to let it go . I hope to upload some pics soon , Resto shack will have their own on their FB page im sure .

My car is going in for paint soon Martin , I just thought it would be nice to get a rear oem badge . I bid for the grill badge too a few months back and got that one as well . Labour of love as they say !.

This is my second time around at reproducing them . The first time I had two sets spare on my hands , I went to remove the glass and it fell off . A bit of careful scraping with a box cutter should release them , considering how old the sealant is . As for their use , they were not brilliant anyway, it's more for the aesthetics really , no cracks or pitting , which lets the look of the car down . It's in the pipeline anyway, depending on costs . We will see .

I did bud thinking , someone will have put a higher bid in , that was my limit . Didn't think I would get it for that .

I won't be going mad and high , with the bids. Mine is painted ATM , looks fine , but it would be nice to have an oem part .

Mine are not in the best condition Delfinis. Compared with my new indicators , they let the car down tbh. So many people seem to be after a good set nowadays. I thought if I can offer them at a reasonable price it would be worth doing.

Afternoon chaps . Im talking to a company , about making the fogs for me . If this goes ahead it will cost a few quid to set up , what with moulds and stuff . Any opinions on this subject will be much appreciated . These will be made of glass as oem . As far as im aware they are now a deleted part with no plans to make any more ,most that are on our cars now are cloudy , cracked and chipped , so i thought it may be an idea to have these made . It looks bigger than the Corrado badge. I know the Golf grill badge was bigger , I think the rear one was too .
