hi all I bought a mk2 golf gti just t take to the nurburgring this year, I also have a merc 609d box van wihc I need to get the car in. so the thing is i need a set of ramps, they will have to go roughly 1m hight so need to be at least 3.5m long to stop the car from bottoming out. The car weighs 900kg (roughly) I dont want to buy a set of ramps because I will be selling the car when i get back, so if any body knows someone who has a set that they will hire out for 1 week or knows a company that does it please let me know cheers all

you can defo do it on a 1.8 16v

like i said ive noticed some car's that have lowered the front slightly more that the back. Is this just for look's or does it make that handeling any better

so have the car the same hight all the way round

If there was water in your engine your oil would be milky. You do get oil vapors that look like steam cuming out of the breather thats what they are for. Sounds like the head has gone is it losing any water or overheating

hi all just after some advise on suspension hights for my corrado. Its lowered 40mm at the mo but im putting some new ones on i notices that some cars lower the front slightly more apart from looks what purpose does this surve. cheers

k where would be the best places to advertise

Hi all do you think I am asking too much for my corrado looking at other cars i thought she should be worth 5K. it might have been that it was a bad time of year to sell cars but its coming to summer not and thinking i want to get myself a new motocross bike so might advertise her. Aslo where are the best places to advertise a car like this spec below. very rare Turbotechnics corrado originally 1.8 16v now 1.916v. I bought the car in nov 2004 with 89k on the clock and sent it into STEALTH RACING for the following work. - A full engine rebuild including a rebore to 1900 with new pistons rods etc -cylender head rebuild gas flowed ported and polished. -exhaust and inlet manifold also ported - turbo reconditioned -gearbox reconditioned up rated, VR6 clutch and a quiffe limited slip diff fitted -full silicone hose kit -an aqua mist water injection kit fitted -corss drilled front discs and fast road pads all round -new altinator, oil pump, water pump. - body work, a VR6 bonnet fitted and badgeless front grille and a full respray

and there are just the two senders on the oil cooler. what if its because of broken wires that will be a b**erd to sort

its annoying. if they are to earth then i can't just disconnect them. any help???????????????

right here is what happened started my corrado today and took her to work she has been under cover for a while started fine ran perfect but the oil preasure buzzer went off a couple of time. The car defo has oil pressure because its got an oil preasure gauge and the pressure stayed fine all the time. it had a new oil pump in the rebuild. vince at stealth said it will be either damp in the buzzer or a faulty oil pressure switch. Does anybody know where the oil pressure switch is so i can change it. cheers

yeh get a compression test. i had a problemwith my old valver on my oil cooler, it burst and started puting oil in the water system and over heated ??
