1. Just, WOW. Truly amazing and stunning Rado's you have there. I think you have an underlying Blackberry fetish..... which isn't necessarily a bad thing....... :)
2. Just been through it and liked all the pics that have been posted up since last week.VW look to still be very 'tight-lipped'........
3. Well i just bombed their Facebook page - you might recognise the photo.......
4. Think a few of us should start appreciation threads.......
5. I always liked the old Lotus Colour Bahama Yellow..... looked fabulous on an Elan..... http://s32.postimg.org/4ta11q7c5/LE_BY.png
6. A guy stopped in his pick-up (or as he would call it a 'ute') yesterday morning while i was giving the Corrado a quick blast with the pressure washer. Turns out he was from New Zealand and here on holiday, and is a VW service engineer in Wellington. Was positively drooling at seeing the car and was even more impressed (for some reason) that it was a VR6 and a manual one at that. Had a bit of a chat, a very likeable and knowledgeable guy, and the chufties were flowing left right and centre. Apparently the VW Corrado is highly thought of there....... :)
7. Would love my Corrado done in Ford (sorry!) Deep Impact Blue..... amazing colour...... have a squiz here....... https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ford+deep+impact+blue&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjfqLyTna_MAhUlLsAKHT-cDCYQsAQIHA&biw=1366&bih=614#imgrc=jAYa6jkCA4CtbM%3A

10. Doesn't it SERIOUSLY pi$$ you off when some inconsiderate MORON does this to your Corrado....... Over the last couple of years, i've spent well north of 2K on the paintwork on my Corrado, only to have some complete cockwomble do this to it. The front bumper pic happened about two weeks ago and the rear bumper pic was done today in Tesco, Sunbury, and i'm well cheesed. Too many bad drivers on the road these days despite what you have to do and go through to pass your test now. Car parking spaces should be made at least half as big again as they are now so brainless dweebs can get their oversized MPV or SUV into a space without damaging other people's cars. OK, so these might just buff out and the Corrado is going in at the end of June for other door opening dings and pings on the side to be taken care of, but that in't really the point. OK - rant over.
11. Another Corrado on Walton Bridge this morning, and at around the same time, 0650, a green VR (i think), K reg.... flashed and waved - no response fromthe lady driver.
12. Nice Aqua Blue (i think) Corrado going over Walton Bridge this morning at around 0650. ****MVC or something - it went past too quickly! Looked mint! Waves exchanged. :)
13. .... ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ This. Let's have a gander...... :)
14. Two in one day, 0650 this morning, Walton Bridge road a green rado - no reg or flavour.... might have been a valver. Then this evening in Walton On Thames, Hepworth Way at around 6.15, i think it was a sherry pearl VR6 ****BGH. Gave a honk to both, but no response!! Hey Ho!
15. Mine is virtually off the shelf. The only mods are the Lupo wipers and the upgraded headlight looms so i can see where i'm going! Oh yeah, forgot about the clear rear Inpro clusters - but the original clusters are still loitering in the shed........
16. I've had shed-loads done over the 15 years i've had mine. Only one really major disaster when the timing chain broke and had to have an engine out job to get it all sorted. So, new tensioners and chain since 2006, heater matrix like-wise. All of the other stuff is just common-or-garden wear and tear stuff - brake discs / pads, new shockers back and front done in the last year, front bearings, plugs, tyres, ignition switches (2 of those buggers), hand-brake cables. Basically, if it's needed doing, it's gotten done. I'd be distraught if anything happened to my Corrado that couldn't be fixed.
17. Had to look... mine is on 211,560
