If they'd done that, Edd would have been inundated with millions of 'can you just fix this' requests!!

Elmsleigh kicked into touch at the end of the month. I have never heard such a load of corporate waffle and well rehearsed lines as to why the premium has rocketed up. Clear as the nose on your face that the guy i was speaking to was really uncomfortable with all the figures i found on Compare The Meerkat... particularly their renewal price, and the price for the same Elmsleigh insurance i found on line - £559.00 difference. It was all i could do to stop calling them a bunch of theiving fcukers there and then. The only reason I didn't was because I need my proof of no claims when this term has ended. Got Privilege Insureance lined up - £168.63/year fully comp, all the usual accoutraments.... works out to just under £17.00/month. Happy Bunny.

Car insurance renewal time. Currently with Endsleigh - you may or may not have heard of them. Current payment £23.18/month fully comp. 14 years NCD, been with them for the last 2 years now. Got the renewal letter this evening when i got home from work. Ready for this? Month payment from 1st November to stay with them - now £38.49/month. That's about a 75-80 percent hike. This equates to £739.99/year with pay monthlty fees via Direct Debit. Look online at Compare the Meerkat - same company - same car details as it has been since 2001, £262.99/year. HOW DO THEY SERIOUSLY THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH THIS? Would love to hear some of your comments...... and are they gonna get the phone call from hell in the morning...... you bet they are! Cheers! .

No doubt i will be......

Watched and enjoyed with interest........ mainly because the two main jobs Edd did are same issues with my C... i.e. the sunroof and the ABS. Now i know exactly what is involved, I'm just wondering if Edd does private work?? LOLZ!

Dateline New Malden, 28AUG, Aldi car park...... just heard the car being referred to as a 'VW Colorado'........ close, but no cigar! :)

You can get tablets from the chemist for that matty!! :)

Clocked Matty in his VR6 last night ... he was being very kind by not burning me up on the A3. Followed me all the way from New Malden to the Cobham turn off, but then had to stop and pop the bonnet...... hope you got home safe...... :)

Can't find the Corrado spotting thread for love nor money... has it been taken down now? Thanks

Blackberry C in Staines centre this morning around 11.05. Looked like a lady driver but not sure.

Nope, it's not having it... even after re-sizing the images. It looks like the pic is downloading, when the 'Browse Box' disappears, there's nothing been added to the post. Hey Ho.

I guess so........ let's try again.......

Can't believe it's two years since i had the Major Tart-Up done, so it was time to get shot of the little dings and pings accumulated over that time (people opening their doors out on to your side panels and what-have-you) as they were pi$$ing me off. Also decided to get the bonnet done again as i wasn't really happy with it - went all 'Orangey Peely on me) so just got it back from Greg who has done the honours for me. So got it all taped up...... there are pictures, but i can't seem to upload them - anyone got any ideas??
-
Just wondering what your 'go to' product is for this. Tried several kinds, but nothing seems to last. :bad-words:

Dark coloured C on the A3 last night at around 5.50pm - joined at the Oxshott junction heading towards Guildford. Gave a wave and got one back.

Hi Ian,, drew a blank there as well.... 'part not recognised'.......
-
Went to VW this morning to order up the Foliage cover 'gasket' which is still available, but sadly, the 5 x Trim Clips For the Windscreen Lower Cover Panel 535 853 832 A 03C around £2.30 5 x Trim Clip Insets for the windscreen lower cover panel 535 853 837 around £1.18 are no longer available to order. So, guess i'd better be care when i do this next weekend.

Hi Sean and Dougie, thanks for the above. Definitely worth checking this out. I'll have a look over the weekend and see what's what. Appreciate your input! Cheers.

***UPDATE*** Had the C booked in at the garage yesterday expecting to need a new heater matrix. Matey pressured up the cooling system and no leaks were found. The carpets in the passenger foot-well are as dry as a bone, so it's not the matrix causing this... or at least we think not. Anyone else got any ideas? Going to whip out the heater motor at the weekend to see whats going on inside the motor housing which i hope will be wet, but i doubt it somehow. Is it possible to try and fit some kind of filter in there as this film is definitely emanating from the heater vents at the front of the dashboard. Don't suppose Corrado's have Pollen filters? Any further input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn't know how to.... care to elaborate? Thanks.
