Harrier, you are a Diamond!! I'm about 4/5 miles from the A3 at the Cobham turn off. What date in August is Harewood happening? If i can't get to the A3, i can always get a train to where you are.... Hampshire is a lot nearer than Durham. Cheers Mate.

I've just read about it here...... http://www.stoptech.com/technical-support/technical-white-papers/-warped-brake-disc-and-other-myths Must say, it does make sense, but i doubt brake pad deposits on the discs could cause the kind of vibration i was getting - it was truly frightening. I could feel the steering wheel jumping up and down on the coloum!! But this was only ever one disc at a time, when it wasn't the offside, it was the near side and vice-versa! Up until about an hour ago, the discs that were on the Corrado were only on there about 4 months - 5 at the most, and of that time, i've had the vibration getting worse and worse over the last couple of months. I'm totally mystified, but what can you do when you read something like what's in the above link? Hey ho... bite the bullet and get 'em changed!! Appreciate your input Jim. Cheers!

I have no idea Jim. I just entrust the car to the garage and they get on with it to be honest! Are there any 'preferred' disc and pads i should let them know about? Cheers!

New front o/s and n/s brake discs today, and a new set of plugs! Don't know why, but for some reason the front brake discs keep warping and braking at over 50 MPH results in a very strong steering wheel shudder. Don't suppose anyone can suggest a reason as to why this keeps happening? This is about my 3rd or 4th set in the past year.

I've just worked my mileage... i've put 137,000 on it since 2001 when it had 76,000 on the clock. Uff!! :shock:

How long have you had your current Corrado? Don't know if there's a thread about this and to be honest, i haven't looked, but i can't remember one. I've had mine 15 years come August and this is the longest i've owned any car - and i don't intend selling it any-time soon.

Either it's on full-on lock, or that steering wheel is on up-side-down!!

I didn't see anything that was obviously missing or broken...... so.... who has a drive-side double window switch with clips intact up for grabs?? Cheers!

Does anyone have any of the the little silver clips that hold the electric window switches in place on the door card? I found one yesterday, but i can't seem to get the sucker to stay on the switch. Don't know if anything is missing off the clip, but it won't stay on there for love nor money!!
