This is driving me crackers. I'm getting a really nasty, thick greasy film coating all the interior glass - windscreen, door windows, rear view mirror and the tailgate glass. There's no stopping it and it won't go away. Had a quick Google and some people seem to think it's the interior plastics 'outgassing'. Would have thought that on a 20 year old car, the plastics would have finished outgassing years ago!! Second on the list is a coolant leak. This is definitely coming up through the heater vents and is covering everything. When i wipe it down, it kind of transforms into a sort of powdery substance which is even harder to get off the glass. Checked the passenger footwell and no dampness there and i had the heater matrix replaced a couple of years ago. That said, i did unexpectedly have to top up the coolant last week. I got a cheap dehumidifier off FleaBay and that did marginally reduce the fogging, but it definitely isn't condensation and only about 10cl of water was the result of two over-night sessions. Happy to post up some pics so you can see what i mean. I'm guessing Corrado's don't have pollen filters so i'm really at a loss. Anyone out there with any input? Cheers

Very nice Aqua Blue VR6 at East Sussex National Hotel and golf complex this morning. Lovely cream leather interior and only 108K on the clock. Hope it's someone from here. http://s18.postimg.org/8075coe0p/ESN_VR6.jpg

Panic over...... turns out that the lock was as dry as a witch's tit so it just needed a good 'lube'ing!! A quick dis-assembly job, a good spray of 3 in 1 and Bob's your Uncle. Thanks.

This is an Eastern European Guy who smacked up his 16v early last year. I had one of the doors off him when i was up in Dudley around April time of last year, so he can't have much more left of it now!

My mate checked out all the fuses and they were fine and he tested the connector and that was showing as power reaching it, so it wasn't the fuse after all. Took the switch apart and gave it all a good clean, but to no avail. The green lights do light up on the directional arrows but that's as far as it goes, and it's only been working intermittently for quite a while, so maybe it's had it's lot. Going to have to bit the bullet and let the stealers fleece me for a new one!

I would like a set as well please - blue outers with blue/red centre. My heater control panel hasn't lit for donkeys years. Looks like every Corrado in the UK will now have working heater control panel lights. Sterling job you have done there Sir!!

Does anyone have a wing mirror controller for a '94 VR6? It's the circular bit that fits into the the door grab handle. The mirrors haven't worked since i took the door card off, my mate at work has checked it all out and there's power getting to the unit, but nothing is moving. Ta! :)

Had to take the door card off over the weekend to fit a new window scraper bar and when i put it all back together the electric mirrors decided they weren't going to work. Yeah, great result!! Think i might have had the ignition on when i shoved the plug back in so i may just have blown a fuse. Does any one know the relevant fuse number for the wing mirrors so i can check it out? Cheers!

Well, not so much what I did, rather what I'll do over the BH weekend. The weather looks as though it's going to behave itself so I'm giving the old bus it's spring spruce up. Time to beak out the DoDo Juice, waffle pads and the buffer!! :)

The guy in Subway made my sandwich and then said, "Would you like any cookies? It's 50p for one or three for a pound." I said, "I'll have two, please." It took him a few seconds, but his head did eventually explode.
