Nice Aqua Blue VR6 (not sure!) reg M5 *** going through Esher past the racecourse yesterday evening at around 1750. Beeps and waves exchanged. Any one on here?
-
The little beastie went in to have the bonnet re-sprayed today. Should have him back for Saturday morning...... then we're almost done.

I wouldn't like to drop a spanner or screwdriver in that engine bay....... you'd be looking for it forever!! :)

That's the place!. Also there's a youtube vid of Ed China performing the deed!! Found it here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQk_X33B2iQ

Has anyone converted their Rado to waterless coolant? Remember seeing Ed do this to an old Triumph TR6 on Wheeler Dealers and wondeered if anyone here had taken the plunge?

That a nice, tidy looking Rado. Snaffle it immediately.

Took out the number plate light assembly (is that too big a word for such a small part?) and replaced it with the same off the tailgate i got from Gareth last weekend. Gave the lens a good wash and replaced the blown bulb then ditched the rusty screws for some nice shiney self-tappers. Off up to Birmingham this afternoon to purloin a driver-side door which i can strip down at my leisure for various odds and sods, and tomorrow morning, i'm having a new stainess steel exhaust back box fitted at Brierley Hill. Going for a Mid-Sport sound with oval tail - pipe. 120 sovs on eBay!

Hi there, thanks for this. Ill get a mate to have a look at it during the coming week. I've checked all the wiring as i originally thought it might be a bad connection or something as the wiper motor itself is working perfectly. Hopefully, it will be this and not something complicated.
-
Got my replacement wiper motor fitted - just finished in fact - working wonderfully and up to speed. One thing though, although there's plenty of water coming out of the feeder pipe, it seems rather reluctant to come out of the washer jet! Boo Hoo Hoo. Checked for blockages etc etc and i can't see anything obvious. Anyone out there got any ideas at all? Thanks as always.

May the 4th be with you!! OK, so it's only the 3rd, but it's the though that counts!!

I used to have a Lotus Europa Twin Cam which was a mid-engined car. I was told that the only way to get it handle properly was to place 1 large bag of cement in the small space under the bonnet.

That is one good looking Rado you have there. Loving the 'leafy lane' effect!! :)

Did you get this sorted matey?

I would love blue tints on my wing mirrors, but not at that price!! Wow. All that for two small pieces of mirror. -

I'm guessing this means i won't be able to do what i had planned to do.........

Thanks for the tailgate Gareth. Just removed the wiper motor and wiper arm as practice for when i'm ready to take the one out of mine.
-
Interesting info guys.... thanks. I was wondering about this as i'm going to be replacing my driverside window surround and it's started to split.
-
This is utterly unbelievable. I despair sometimes..... i really do. Drop yourself by the nearest police station with your original Case number. Maybe the local plod can sort it for you.

I found the guide to remove it in the wiki thingummybob. Thanks for the further comments Super-Mod re the wiring and spray wax. All info greatfully received. Cheers! :)
