Love the Colour. Very nice. Those alloys aren't too shabby either! Hope you enjoy it.

Hey - lots of 'spots' recently....... the weather must be getting better!! :) :)
-
Just thought i'd give this a quick bump....... well - you never know!! :)
-
I would love to have the 'know-how' to do be able to do something like this, plus of course the time on my hands to do it in the first place. Good luck with this.

I replaced mine about 5 weeks ago now, maybe more, and i had one of the last of 3 VW Heritage had. Sadly this part is no more, discontinued.
-
I'll go with one as well if I may please Matt. Thanks.

Spotted a Sherry Pearl (i think!) VR6 turning into Rydens Road, Walton On Thames this morning - around 0715. Looked very nice. Wave and thumbs given! :)

The seller is full of ......:censored: :thumbleft:

I would truly like one of these, but It's a lot of dosh for what essentially is a bit of plastic..... wasn't TrimSport supposed to be doing these??
-
I just knew you'd have one Chris!! Distance is such a bugger sometimes!!
-
Required. Preferably within pick-up distance Middlesex / Surrey preferred. Prepared to drive to Hampshire / Kent / Home counties in general for a good 'un. Cheers Chappies.

This is true.......

Nice chuftie from a young guy in a Volvo S70 yesterday morning. Senor C had just been washed and polished for his drive down to Kent and was looking rather shiney, and this guy was giving it a very enthusiastic thumbs up and was positively drooling!! LOLZ!

That looks to be a possibility DG.... nice (albeit temporary) fix. Will give that a try myself although i don't have any welding gear. Hopefully some extra strong Araldite will do the trick. Thanks. Appreciate your reply!

Hello Sean, it's the metal that's actually broken - somehow?? There's a small metal piece left within the plastic surround itself and the rest of it is on the carpet!! LOL. Not sure if this can be stripped down and re-jigged somehow?
-
Yes - that's the one. Handle snapped clean off!
-
Ya never know!! What about the seat handle? Can these things be repaired in any way?
-
mine is f$%&ed as well.......
-
LOLZ. On a plus side, i've just noticed that the central locking on the passenger side door has started working again, all by itself!! Swings and roundabouts........... :)
-
I DON'T BELIEVE IT!! The bloody driver-side sear handle snapped off this morning. Is there any way these things can be stuck/welded/whatever back on? Just seems to be one thing after another at the moment....... patada!!
-
Thanks guys. I'll try the Cerium Oxide route first and see how it goes. If not i'll replace the glass.
-
I've noticed that the replacement driver side door glass has quite a few scratches on the outside and i wondered if there's anything you guys would recommend to get rid of them. The glass that went into the door after 'the incident' was from an old door i had knocking around, and although i noticed it at the time, i didn 't realise how much the scratches would bug me!! I have found this for windscreens..... http://www.frost.co.uk/extra-polishing-powder.html And i guessing i can use this for the door glass as well. Would welcome any input..... Thanks.

And probably more sturdy than the original two 'funny' clips!! It's great what you can pick up on from here sometimes!!
