Tell me about it........

I had the clutch done a little while back so should still be OK.

The guys finally picked up the Corrado Friday afternoon. Looks like the Clutch Bearing has gone, so they gotta drop the box out...... this is sounding expensive........ again............:(

My usual garage guys haven't been able to pick up the C and it's still languishing outside my gaff with no clutch pedal. Does any one a mobile mechanic who can come out to me and get this sorted? In Shepperton, between Staines and Walton On Thames. Any help would be greatly appreciated as always. Been without the car for a week now and with the weekend looming, i'm starting to pull what's left of my hair out..... Cheers

There used to be what i called a little 'snag' where the pedal kind of jarred ever so slightly when i was litfting my foot of it. I could feel a little 'snag just before it got to the resting position after a gear change. No doubt my matey at the garage will sort it out for me - just really wanted to know if it could possibly be cylinder problems or some not quite so expensive - what with the labour costs n' all. The pedal won't budge now so maybe some kind on linkage has given up the ghost or something.

I did take a look and can't see anything untowards........ nothing inside or on the road outside......

Almost got home from a dentist visit and the clutch pedal felll to the floor. Literally less than 400 yards from my front door. Told by GSF that the Corrado doesn't have a clutch cable (which i thought it did) so likely to be the slave or master cylinder. Picked up the pedal from the floor and now it's locked and won't budge. Any ideas out there - apart from the obvious? LOL!! Cheers

A flash and a wave from an unidentified dark coloured Corrado this morning on the Queens Road, Hersham. Wave reciprocated!! :)

Gotcha, 92 Black Corrado in Michigan, what rims/tires to buy?
VR-Sixy replied to Bob's Dad's topic in Newbies Hangout
Don't ignore your timing chain if there's a potential problem. Mine jumped a cog quite a while back and after trying to start it the following morning royally screwed up the engine. This was an engine out and re-build job. Ignore at your peril!! Just a word to the wise you understand........ Hope you enjoy your new project. :)
