Was just looking at the website for these chaps: http://www.proalloy.co.uk/pages/contact-us-48.htm They list replacement radiators for other car models that they've done and uprated them at the same time all for about £300.. Thinking I wonder if it'd be possible for them to integrate that stupid plastic neck that always breaks as well so that'd improve cooling AND eliminate a known weak spot for not much more than a genuine one was costing..
-
Anyone seen / tried the ECP ones? I certainly trust ECP more than GSF but am still wary about pattern bits :(
-
Might be worth asking on a Seat Ibiza forum for anyone breaking one?
-
Just curious to know if anyone has looked into whether it's possible to fit a MK3 Golf VR6 radiator in the Corrado VR6 engine bay... they can't be THAT different can they? ---------- Post added at 02:01 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:59 PM ---------- One here on eBay BTW - looks like Genuine VW one too (Denso Marston): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vw-Corrado-VR6-G60-Radiator-and-Twin-Cooling-fan-/160655924202?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2567d6dbea And yeah - looking at that and a MK3 Golf one, totally different dimensions, and position of the pipes :|

Up to 20 people already.. superb.. -
It did sound like it'd had a few years of neglect in the hands of the previous owner sadly.. it was listed for sale at £900 and I'll be surprised if C5 OEM even paid that..
-
Probably not the result you were hoping for, Nikki! :(
-
Are you sure, Chris? The diagram is pointing to the tow eye cover...?

We've managed to do over 30 cars before... depends how long before people get bored, etc etc... Vince will stick it out as long as is necessary normally! Cut off date really needs to be a few weeks before.. but you can just turn up on the day and pay, but join the back of the queue! -

Just tell me when you're concrete. Plenty of time yet.. ---------- Post added at 08:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:32 PM ---------- Nope :) -
The G60 is getting increasingly rare, and it's hard to find a good unmolested one. And there are added complications (and costs) from the supercharger. I'd personally suggest you aim for a 16V (either 1.8 or 2.0) as they're a good entry into Corrado ownership - and then maybe look to swap up after you've had a bit of time and got familiar with them? And don't worry about coming to the meet in a Peugeot 306 (which I think looks pretty nice anyway!) - anyone who's into the Corrado is welcome to come along. You're a future owner and hopefully seeing lots of them together might inspire you to knuckle down and get one found ASAP ;)

West Midlands Rolling Road Day Feeler...?
Jim replied to Jim's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Ok folks.. get your names down :) http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?58393-Event-Stealth-Racing-Rolling-Road-Day-November-27th-2011&p=747096 -
The nights are drawing in, and the temperatures are dropping outside.. it's that rolling road time of year! Date & Time Sunday, November the 27th, 2011. We'll be starting at 9am sharp. This may not suit people who live far away... if you don't like early mornings or you live in the Lake District, then you may wish to not put your name down! :) The Venue The event will be held at Stealth Racing in Southam. Their address is: Unit 6 & 12 Warwick House Ind Park Southam CV47 2PT A view of the location can be found here on Google Maps. This is the entrance of the industrial park. If you're going to be coming along to spectate, please drive straight on and park at the FRONT of their unit (past where the bright orange TNT delivery van is in the picture). If you're having your car rolling roaded please take a left and park round the back (look for all the Corrado's). Please stick to this! If you're rollering your car, when you arrive, please come and find me.. I'll be hanging around by the rollers most of the time and just ask if you don't know what I look like - most people there will probably know who I am and can point you in my direction. I'll confirm you've arrived and get you into the running order. The Price I've not yet confirmed prices with Vince, but it's always been £25 for two runs and a printed copy of your results including BHP and torque plots. I've no reason to believe it's gone up! I'll be contacting everyone who has put their name down at the start of November to collect payment in advance. If you're not 100% certain you can attend, please don't put your name down. It takes a lot of time and effort to organise things like this and I just don't want the hassle of trying to sort out refunds for people 2 days before the start of the event! What else is going on...? We're going to run a BBQ offering the usual sorts of things - sausages and burgers. Food will be charged at cost.. I'm not trying to do it to make money! We'd also like to run an autojumble. There's no easy way to run this so can only suggest people just bring a boot full of stuff, and we do something in the style of a car boot sale! Any other information? 24/09/11 - Any other information that comes up, I'll stick here. Please keep an eye on this thread for all information about the event. Participants...... 1.
