[Event] Stealth Racing RR Day - November 27th, 2011 -- PAYMENT

Should be fine mate - added you :) -
I don't understand why people buy these cars sometimes!
-
Great stuff - look forward to seeing some proper pics in a few weeks when you're allowed to wash it! :)

Is the increased BMW horsepower not simply because it can rev higher mate? If you got the engine blueprinted and balanced so you could increase the rev limit, would you not be getting into BMW power territory?
-
Jeez ;)

There is a jet wash at the garage a few hundred yards down the road :) -

It's no different to you putting your foot down and taking it up to the redline in second or third gear! :) I've never seen anything bad happen to a car on rolling roads and I've lost count of the amount I've been to now! -
What's the fuel like? This sounds very similar to when I think I got a bit of water in the fuel system on my 2.0 16v some years ago. It would idle, roughly, but if you tried to rev it up it simply didn't want to know and would do exactly the same - go really lumpy and try and cut out. How old is the fuel in the tank?

There is a lot to be said for just going into a shop even if it means paying a bit more.. cause then you can go back and have words if there is anything you're not happy with! I'm always very reluctant to order online from places that I've never ordered from before!

Unknown... Quite enjoyable action flick with an interesting twist. Didn't expect much from it but was pleasantly surprised. Solid performances all round, and rattled along at a good old pace. 7/10.

Superb mate. I reckon it'd be interesting though for you to try it with two configurations... airbox on the right of the engine (like Kip's) and then your setup and see how the characteristics change. I really like how OE it looks but wonder if you'll also lose a little bit of performance as the air will get heated by the heat from the exhaust manifold? Or should it be negligable?

Yep - will add you mate :) -
With the greatest respect, it's not exactly surprising that a site with 3 million unique visitors per month and a wide, open, varied classifieds section is yielding better results for selling. Most people don't appear here until they're very close to buying or have bought a Corrado..
-
Looking forward to seeing it! :)
-
Always a pleasure to see that there are still original, unmolested ones out there. Looking forward to seeing what progress you make with this :)
-
Sadly will have to bail out of this now. Amusingly am off down to a friends place to help them swap a failed heater matrix on their Corrado! :( Hopefully make the next one, if you organise another Karl?

That was my thinking.. less excuses for people to flake out ;) -
Great stuff :) Keep the posts coming mate!

What a turn around! The only (minor) kicker IMHO was that they darkened the colour on the speedlines - Twilight Violet really benefits from the brightness of the Speedlines in standard silver. Wonderful to see one saved as well - I think most people would have looked at that and thought it was too far gone to save!

Already bagged mate... assuming that deal is still on, Tom? :) -
Have you stuck it on Pistonheads Classifieds mate? Having seen some of the threads on there, people will travel for the right cars!
-
Oh dear - what was up with the 928 mate?
