thanks for feedback,76mm silicone 180 degree bend and just plain exhaust tubing , couple of old marina exhaust mounting brackets modified to make it solid, filter now sits were the original did and cold air feed goes were carbon canister was, after driving with it a few days defo makes a difference to throttle response when the engine bay is warm one thing, how do you change the title of the thread when you want to update -

well, finally done it, took a lot of cutting , welding and scratching heads but it's done now, not only does it tidy the bay up it also serves it's purpose always felt that the car didn't feel as responsive when it warmed up, now it feels lovely and crisp and normal running temp plus one big bonus it's got a bit of a roar about it not a 12v roar but better than before, one question is the black part of the plastic manifold suppose to pulse when you blip the thottle also big thanks to kev for his advice ah well, WHAT NEXT !!! job done, will post pics later in my build thread if anyones interested

thanks kev, have to fabricate a solid intake pipe tomorrow as the flexi pipe that demon tweeks said was suitable for the job just sucks together when you blip the pedal otherwise everything sits nice ,so will plumb the breather into the solid pipe , cheers
-
so if i put a crankcase filter thingyme job on that will be ok
-
halfway through this , there's a breather from the crankcase going to a sensor which is on the black flexible pipe to the throttle body, the sensor is not in use , so can i blank this off or put a small filter there, help

about to embark on re-positioning the air filter (from the right to the left ) to get a good cold air feed to the bmc cda, have purchased all the relative silicon hoses , question is does it matter that the air flow meter is going to sit a lot further from the throttle body than it does now, thought i'd ask before i start, thanks for looking
-
will hang out for a few days to see if anyone has a plinth, if not will be in touch, cheers
-
