  1. I fooking love grab cad. Great model BTW . Is it modelled from scanned data? Or freestyle from an orthographic?
  2. Good to see another Corrado owner in Cornwall! Unfortunately I am trying to shift my valver as I have a mk3 Tdi daily so I won't be an owner for long. My Mk3 is the newest car I have ever owned and I have not been spoilt by the new car feel, so I can safely say my 16v (and G60 before it) are the best dailys I have ever had. I totally agree with Pat, throw as much as you have at it and you won't regret it. I have always bought cars on a tight budget and always spent a lot of time tinkering with them - but I enjoy that so its ok. One day I will get another Corrado (after I finish the Mk1 and Mk2) probably by the time they have all but disappeared and cost a small fortune!!
  3. I saw a darkish grey Corrado (sorry for my ignorance on colour type and description . .) arriving at the European Drag racing finals at Santa Pod this weekend. Seen at a distance so I cannot be more specific!!
  4. I'll take it mate. pm some paypal info and I will get it paid. Chris
  5. No Probs mate. Pm me details when you have them. Cheers.
  6. Sweet. Paypal ok? Can you tell me the part number too please (just for my knowledge).
  7. Have you got the early spec leccy window control box?
  8. I will have a look at the one I have and might give it a trim in black (or beige) if anyone fancies it?
  9. Do you have the electric window control box and the central locking pump available mate?
  10. Ah, manifold fail then - I have the inlet :(
  11. How quickly do you need it buddy? I have one but won't be able to send it for a week or so.
  12. Its poor form I know - but I'm pretty sure it makes me go faster and I also blend in around chavs. I wasn't thinking so much about rusty glass ;) more like small rodent corpses or spiders.
  13. My 16v has one on it and I voted bad! I am too scared to take it off just in case I find something or pull the paint off :( PS - I didn't fit it before anyone asks.

More than welcome to collect dude. Its stashed at my folks place and only held on by the injector pipes so I can take it off tomorrow afternoon and send or if you aren't fussed about the drive you can come collect. Sorry I can't get to it sooner, my place up here in sunny bude doesn't have a barn to stash loads of car parts in!! Its in Liskeard by the way. Chris
  15. Hi all, Can anyone tell me if the window control box from a late spec 9A valver would happily work in an oldskool 1.8 valver? I recently got all the bits an pieces sorted on my C after some tool crashed into it and so I organised my sisters bloke to come get it to track it and get it re-mot'd. On arrival the battery was unsurprisingly dead after a fair time off the road so he juiced it up and took it away. Later he tells me that the elec windows weren't working which was weird but tbh nothing surprises me anymore. So I sent him the late spec box from a car I broke a while ago assuming it would do the job. Now, not only do my windows close when the ignition is switched off (annoying) my central locking has stopped working - passenger and driver side. On a side note the radio has also stopped working too. Did he fry something when charged the car up? I am not really that electronically minded but it all seems quite the coincidence! Any input would be appreciated.

I've got all that (everything in that pic) left off the 9a I broke. £70 +postage. I should be going home this weekend so could sort it out for you. Chris
  18. I have broken a late 2.0 16v with 100k on the clock that someone had traded on the scrappage scheme. I got around £1800 out of it which I doubt I could have got for it in one piece and I still have the engine and gearbox. Now this might look like I am pro breaking but thats not entirely true. It was a sh*t load of work and it sounds like you've got other demands on your time. It probably took 7 months to shift most of the stuff and it is surprising how much space a dismantled Corrado takes up! You can always say to people collection only but if you ship, parts will go quicker - adding continual packaging and shipping hassles into the mix. My Corrado nearly got chopped up recently after somebody smashed into it while parked over night. Breaking it would have been financially motivated so I totally understand the money angle. Try and take seeing someone else in your car out of the equation tho - its not a good reason to break a car, see a new owner as someone that is continuing your wagons legacy! Thats my 2p - breaking might look like financial sense but heres some math . .. . . . .breaking = profit - (time x hassle). And apparently time is money so maybe it isn't as attractive as it might seem.
  19. I bought some interior trims the other week and look what I found attached to it! Anybody recognise where it might be from? I am assuming there was never a Corrado cup holder. . . . . .
  20. Damn, I wanted to go to this but instead of driving the C I will be putting her back together. Next time guys.
  21. Lol! You mustn't feel responsible for the finger mate! Glad you like it , makes doing it worthwhile.
