Back from BVF great weekend really enjoyed meeting everyone! This was waiting for me when I got back! :D

OK pick the car up from DG love it! went out with dave hope i didn't get a ticket as I went past police car sorry but couldn't stop smiling! :grin: been out a few times and it just gets better!!! :grin: OK here is the old engine bay the new!! :grin: Cleaned and put away for the night ready to go to BVF! :grin:

On way to pick up my car from DG saw Nugget in Bromsgrove, was in my lads polo!

Pete thanks I think DG deserve the respect they get too! The reg well when I bought the car I would have change it for something with a closer link to me..but I have become fond of it. Now I got it supercharged it is thinly linked My Supercharged VW Corrado, yeah I know very thin... but it is the link for the car to the 5th gear review so who am I to take it off... So I apologies for the long winded way to say no thanks the reg is staying. :)

So Dave posted this teasing picture on another thread! Taken from a distance you can see a shiny inlet manifold :shades: the give away is the reflection on the top left of the bonnet!! :grin:

so with the mk4's you kept the original or mk4 discs? just wondering if mk4 discs have a thicker face plate which would put the wheel further out.. i had 5mm spacers on the back and tried the coilovers lower and i had space to the arch which is why i am a little confused :?

I am surprised you have no room at the back for at least the 5's... have you change calipers and discs at the back? I recon I could have got them on mine with 10mm spacers. I'm still standard at the back.

no i think it was the other way 6mm front and 5mm on rear! did you stack the spacers to get the fronts on? is that how you worked out that you needed 13 to 15mm spacers? i would recommend you try to get concentric spacers. those eta's 288 must stick out a lot more than the 280 girlings...

Chris i don't think its a problem driving with it wider at the front! mind you it would look good to get the rears out like the front as i think it looks great!

i've been waiting to see these pics! Wow they are close to the calipers!!! hope the spacer workout to your liking! i have to say they look really good on yours the colour mix is so much better!!! the polished rims stand out so much better...

One of Dave's points was going to far with the SC will make it the same as highend turbo.....always needs something doing! low end turbo would be better!! Dave's car is a great example. went out with him in his and it is very nice very driveable smooth, not that edgey raw brute force! i have not got the mechanical talent to keep a car like that on the road! hats off to those that have!
