Cheers guys no look still although i have been out all day so not really had a proper look since last night ill give all your advice a go im not going to cut the door off but i was a bit annoyed last nite when i posted lol I have tried pushing and pulling alot but only the central locking works just not on the drivers door to open it Im honna have another bash tomorrow after elsecar and see how it goes Hopefully i can get it open Wullie iv already found out the hard way i broke some of the rubber by accident i think when the car got blown over the paint had stook the ruber to the door bit its not to bad i superglued it back and you can hardly tell Cheers again ill let u know how i get on One more thing if i do get the door open do i remove the lock fully and get a new one or fix the existing ?

Its a cream leather door card so dont really want to break it to pieces as i know i wont find another on its own you see. If managed to get it of a bit more now so i can get my hand behind the door but god knows how the latch opens !! Like i said iv tried proding and pushing all the lock bits inside but with no luck Surley this has happend to someone on here before whos got a solution

My drivers door lock decided to some how break leaving me unable to open the door from the inside or the outside handle And because its locked i can only partly get the door card off from the inside Iv put tje window down and had a torch in there but no matter what i push prod poke press and hook i cannot get the latch to open and i cant see anyway of getting in Iv spent 5 hours today trying to get in and its not hapening In the end if i cant get the latch open and a lock smith cant do it im gonna grind a hole in the door and have it off and put a new one on and get it sprayed by a mate who paints proffesionally lol Any help would be great as my m.o.t is next month asweall Cheers guys

Iv been looking at some zx9r bike carbs but im unsure to buy or not Its a full set up got the butcherd mani and samcos all hooked up to the carbs and a small fuel pump the only thing it needs is a filter on the open ends Im just wanting to know how much of a pain its all goin to b to fit ! Or not ?? Iv got an old school guy near me whos supposed to be really good at setting them up even by sound and ear lol Also uses a rolling road to set up everything How much should i be paying for all this kinda stuff does anyone have any answers?? Sounds daft but could it be the cat ? Mine makes a chuffing kinda sound cant really explain it better than that but once its warm it usually sounds alot better Also if its one of the joints making yhe noise like said above till its warm i used a product called chemical metal to seal the gap works a hell of a lot better than gum gum

Nup it was one of those pictures stating actual item may be different !! All i did was email the guy the car make model year and engine it was for Turned up got under the car no wer near the right size !! Sometimes its better to stick with wats known imo

Best thing to learn is that most things are to good to be true ! Id stick with parts i knew was of good make or atleast known to fit I got a de cat of ebay for 38 quid brand new of some tuning company Got it tried to fot it and it was about 400 mm to big and a total fail so jad to send it back Stik with what u know and save ur self time and expense

Just popped in to vw as i was passing ! 998.90 for a new metering head mate and thats on an exchange basis asweall haha so yes silly money The guy did mention tho that they can supply a valve and gasket repair kit for the metering head for 78.00 squid wich is better inless u can find and guarrentee a second hand unit with low miles on otherwise it could be just as bad as the one you are replacing Also the new blue sensor for the csi is 40 quid and a new throttle sensor with loom is 78.00 lol

Cool i think mine may well be past its day tbh iv replace the other four injectors ill have a go at unplugging the sensor and see how it runs without it and is there not anyway of salvaging or fixing the metering head u have kempy ?? Is it this thread that stated they are about 700 quid to replace or something like that or silly money anyway ??

Every one has a price i suppose im not trying to upset anyone but iv seen normal headlinings go for 15 to 20 quid on ebay and the likes of and as rare as they may be in my opinion 150 is on the steep side but like i say its not anyones call to decide a price but the seller

It stands for cold start injector Its the fith injector for if its bloody freezing but from what iv read on here its not needed that often even if its freezing Can anyone tell if a knackard cold start injector would be the cause of exessive fuel guzzling lol

Ahh i didnt realise ok bud good look with it Heads up asweal make sure ur allenkeys are good quality and not ones made of cheese mine where very tight to undo the locking grub screw and the worst was around the back side so if it rounds the next step is taking yhe full unit off lol
