1. What's the difference between Halfords and VAG (other than the price!)
2. Corrado Storm, 5k pa, no mods, garaged. - £1,200 for the other half(24) and I (25), fully comp, 4 yrs NCD (protected). Tesco. Other half wrote off her 205 GTI 20 months earlier. (Shame  , it was a pug but also an unmodified ex-show car).
3. Thanks chaps :D Any idea of the cost? p.s. Kevin are you a member of VWCCGB or anything similar in Ipswich? I'm not far away and nothing Corrado related on at the moment in Colchester.
4. Do anyone happen to know how difficult these are to change? I guess the roof lining needs to be removed to get access. Should I just bite the bullet and get VW to replace it in April's service on the basis of 'you damage it, you pay for it'. It's on a Classic Green Storm so any dent in the roof lining is going to show badly. Thanks.
5. Old cars win every time. (Well almost). I used to own and MK1 GTI Cab and part-ex'd it for a Lupo. Never ever again.
6. Not really local.....Colchester. But as there's not a lot going on in North Essex or Suffolk an number of us from up (all with Goof's bar me) have have joined with Jct29. We meet every month on the last Sunday if your interested. See http://www.jct29.com.
7. Jct29 are meeting for the last time this year on 21st December at the Half Way House, 1/2, from Jct29 of the M25. All welcome. Mince pies anyone? p.s. is worth a new section on the forum for meets/events as there's quite a few now?
8. trendy tramp, trust you'll be dropping in to Jct29 once its finished?
9. I don't understand why all the VAG clubs and forums have started vendettas against each other. We all drive the same cars don't we? (Manufacture, not model!). It wasn't like this when I was young!
10. This is the official No-Rice homepage. See the NR forum for other NR'ers. No Rice Not sure I'm going on wednesday but I'll be at Jct 29 on the 21st.
11. This WILL be appearing on the NEW corrado club website @ http://www.corradoclub.co.uk I'll try and bring this forward to this weekend if i can. p.s. if anyone's personal web page links to the old site would you mind updating to the new address. We will have a divert from the old ref but this is taking sometime. Please bear with me :) Jamie
12. Any specialist such as HIC or Adrian Flux should do classic insurance. Tesco have also done a fairly good Fully Comp deal on a low mileage policy for my Storm
13. NOVEMBER MEET THIS SUNDAY 23RD. HALFWAY HOUSE: 2 MILES FROM JCT 29 M25. ALL WELCOME please see. Jct29 website for more details/directions.
14. Why not write an article for the sprinter...... ......also, if you post me your details i'll add you to the members gallery on the website which is coming soon. (please kept it small as i'm on dial up :( ) Jamie.
15. The CCGB has a mpeg clip of the original Top Gear item on the Corrado from the 80's.
16. A classified section is on the cards but I am concentrating on returning the site to its full working order before the new stuff. On the other points. Yes, a link page will be added and yes I’ll include the Corrado Forum if that's OK with Andi. Yes, the Yahoo board is not actually the CCGB. I'll check and change if necessary.
17. For future reference, the new address for the VWCCGB is http://www.corradoclub.co.uk and there is a pdf membership application to download.
18. See the following link for the full results: Seat Rolling Road Results
19. Why not link up with the VWCCGB and takeover the place! I'm sure many here are members of both.
20. Two VR6's had the usual air filter and exhaust and the other two were Highlines which should be 180 to 184, so i'm happy.
21. The just put the Storm on the Rolling Road at Witham (part of the Seat RR SE day!) and had 194.8 BHP and 194.7lbft! Excellent for a standard car with VAG everything! The 2.8 VR6 golfs (4 of them) all managed 180ish so the RR is accurate. Just thought i'd let you all know
22. Hello all. Yes the CCGB website should be up and running shorty. At the moment we only have a static version as i'm still finalising the finer points on SQL programming!!! Hope you'll bear with me. (I've set myself a deadline of Sunday 26th the at least have the first few main pages live!) If you have any comments, or items you want to see, please email mail. Thanks Jamie.
23. 16th Oct Update: Leaving from Colchester, Essex at 12:00 Chelmsford at 12:30 Halfway House 13:00.
24. 'Junction 29' group meet this Sunday 19th October. We've a variety of machinery but only one Corrado (Mine)! If anyone's in Essex/North London why not drop by :D . See: No-Rice Forum or Junction 29 or send me an email. Jamie Corrado Storm VWCCGB Webmaster
25. If anybody happens to have a spare set (and pigs might fly) I desperately want them. (Kidney going cheap!)
