  4. The car should be recorded as a Storm on the VW Vehicle Service Register. Any dealer should be able to give you a print out.
  5. Rather than use screws why not get a number plate surround that allows inter-changeable plates for shows etc... i.e. my storm at Inters04 if anyone saw it. see http://www.polishededge.co.uk

  9. Just got my new 2004 Membership Card in nice shiny sliver 8) Well done Guys. With the new sliver club stickers 2004 must be the year of bling!
  10. Sy_VW, Why not drop in to Jct29. See http://www.jct29.com Or CCGB East Region.
  11. Page 31, Para 2. I was refering to an earlier post re the CCGB presence at shows.
  12. Just got my sprinter! One thing though.....my Storm's green not blue  . I've just read though these posts and hope those with doubts will make an effort to chat to me at a number of the shows this year where i'll be making an appearance. I'm 25 not 45 (athough i've a VR, sorry). As regards the website, things are now runing resonably smoothly and i've just uploaded the 2003 events pics to the site. A proper link to these pages should be up before Sunday (for now http://www.corradoclub.co.uk/Events/Nat ... ay%202003/ ). See you all at the AGM Jamie.
  13. Does anyone know which clubs have been given an invite to Inters this year and who's accepted? Also, any ideas on the traders? Cheers Jamie.
  14. This will be my 5th Inters and the third with the 'Rado. I've read everyone's post and agree with the majority. The old TRL was the best I’ve been to, but, speaking to the old hands even the TRL had its problems in the early days. What disappoints most is that shows like Inters are losing track of what’s important. The average owner. I've not got a show car and never will. However, I’d love to have it at Inters and meet anyone interested in the 'Rado. Judging by the emails I receive from the CCGB website there's still many people out there who love them and want to know more. This not just the shows though. A number of the small clubs and forums (you know who you are) have started in-fighting. This is bad for the clubs, the forums, the shows and importantly the members. For those of you who are attending Inters remember why you're there. p.s. I'm in Colchester 20 miles south of Inters. If anyone wants to meet (early) before hand feel free to PM. I'll also be hovering round the CCGB on both days. Jamie
  15. A list of VINs would in no way whatsoever have anything to do with the DPA. It may not be specifically defined under the DPA but most companies are now ultra careful as the DPA has a very wide coverage. On the basis that the DPA does not apply  Does anyone here work for VAG or have access to this data.
  16. Forget that idea. Data Protection and all that!
  17. But we could get one. Just a matter of asking VW for a list of VIN numbers.
  18. :) . A12 Southbound just past Chelmsford on route to a Jct29 meet. What you can't see is the black Golf VR6 Highline nailed to the back bumper!
  19. I suppose i'd better drop in at the Ace Cafe then. I will. Honest.
  20. No, its actually in the VW Auto Museum, Wolfsburg Germany. There's a pics here: http://www.corradoclub.co.uk/Models/storm.html
  21. Oh dear. Well mine number 1 :) It's not but there's as much evidence it is as thats No 500! i.e. none
  22. I wonder who's got a badge-less Storm? :D
  23. £9k's a good price for a Storm. Don't forget a set of Storm badges are a least £10k if you put them in ebay
  24. Thanks. I'll try change it myself. I'm going for a VAG part as I want the keep the Storm original but I'll try Euro Car Parts of GPC before the local main 'stealer'.
