Hi Mate, Just sent the money. Look forward to seeing the finished article. Cheers

As harsh as it sounds I but a crowbar behind mine and yanked. The clip on the pedal will snap but they are available from VW fore a few ££ and easy to change once the servo is out.
-
Put me down for a red set when you have them :-)
-
My bad I hadn't realized this was happening. I will send payment asap. Ollie
-
Me too :)
-
That looks awesome! Mine is pretty low but my front splitter is battered to hell, yours looks perfect! Obviously this means I can go lower...
-
They're available from GSF as far as I know, I bought one about 6 months ago and the quality was ok.
-
Had the same problem here, the motors are the same as a mk3 and pre 2001 mk4 golf, I got one from a scrappy for £10 and they're much more likely to be in good nick!

Volkswagen Heritage are starting to list these kind of parts, you might find it's similar to a Mk2 part more than a mk3 on an early model.

Changing throttle position sensor & idle stabiliser valve
ollielawson replied to timthetinyhorse's topic in Engine Bay
I changed my TPS for a new one and the engine ran like crap for a bit but now it's sweet. I didn't do any VagCom coding, I think the Corrado is too old for that kind of thing ;o) -
If you have the key number you can order a new key from VW. It should be with the service book but not many Cs have this pack now! Failing that any tyre place (decent, not kwik fit) should be able to remove it

Corrado parcel shelf with 6x9 speakers sale/swap
ollielawson replied to Flexso's topic in Parts for Sale
Any chance you can post the shelf? I'm the wrong end of the M3. Would obviously cover the costs. Ollie -
Hi mate, Have you still got the late model head lights? How much for both? Ollie

- **Please Close** - Breaking 1994 Aqua Blue Corrado VR6
ollielawson replied to Purple Tom's topic in Cars for Breaking
Hi, Have you still got the Headlights and would you do a deal for both? Cheers Ollie -
The 3M stuff is great, I've wrapped some stuff on the Beemer with it. My only piece of advice is don't stretch it too much and take your time and you're good to go.
-
You might be able to get to it by removing the throttle body, inlet and exhaust manifolds & downpipe but its not going to quick job. Have you tried getting to them from underneath?
-
I have a sony cdx930ui which has brilliant ipod control and switchable control illumination (blue/red/green) although you have to turn off all the chav graphics from the menu. You could try a Blaupunkt as these were fitted from the factory in Germany and the modern ones are good imo http://www.blaupunkt.de/index.php?id=1680&L=1

Sounds like a good tip. Corrado heated seat switches are getting harder and harder to find
-
Check the vacuum pipe on the back of the clocks if it's an early one too as the rubber parts perish and leak
-
The later versions only work with genuine cables, you need the "Lite:" version (http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds-lite/download/index.html) otherwise. You might be able to get the code from a friendly dealer using the reg no. from your old B5

I have full vagcom with canbus for later VAG if needed or 2x2 for older stuff and happy to help anyone in Bournemouth / Poole (Dorset)

The real cost of a genuine VAG VR6 exhaust...
ollielawson replied to Joss_Durnan's topic in Engine Bay
I had a supersprint system on an old mk3 golf 16v and the fit and sound were spot on. No issues ever and sold the car with in on
