    common problem due to something to do with the headlight loom (i believe) You can buy an uprated loom, or HID's maybe?

    dunno if it is much help mate, i have fk adaptors with porsche rims and all i know is my bolts are off a newish audi. The tyre place called them "new style" wheel bolts and grabbed some straight out a box. Best bet for definite is to try your local tyre place bud. Sorry for the vague answer :)

    I can't afford to run two cars, still being young in the insurers eyes and i don't buy cars to lock away. She is being used throughout the winter on the same wheels it was on at the shows this year. They will be refurbed in march/april time anyway. I managed to dig her out of the snow pit today for the 1st time in 5 days, on the main roads its ok, side roads are a bitch still. just had to dig it out on entering my mrs' road.

    you say you have had a couple of mk2 golf gti's? if you had the 1.8 16v golf, then that's effectively a corrado. Roughly same era, so expect rattley dashes and like the golf they rev high on the motorway at 70+

    dont need a bead blaster at all. the guys i use had one and got rid of it. they fitted 165s to a 7j no probs, no leaks, nothin

    got quoted 300 to 400 for a head rebuild from a guy ive used for years here in bromsgrove. just would obv need a head

    mine is dickhead low but doesnt feel too bad at 90ish. never really been faster than that to be fair because my er private road runs out...

    Guys when i turn right from stationary, i.e pulling out a junction and its near enough full lock i get a knocking noise that gets faster as i accelerate. My top mounts have had it, could this be the cause? Or will it be ball joint related etc? It just had an mot and had a replacement steering rack gaitor (saying that i havent checked my fluid) Ideas please? Ta, Dan

    well, some lovely lady decided to enter a blind bend in the middle of the road coming towards me the other morning. luckily using my ninja like reactions i swerved but hit the kerb. so i have 2 nicely kerbed alloys, and she effed off before i could get any details. im thinking refurb in a wacky colour?? ideas? bear in mind i am slightly colour blind and some colour ideas i've had are apparently awful haha
