That makes sense because the cam cover is missing, so I'll have to source on of those. I think you're right with the lambda, the connection looks identicle from what I've seen. Where does it actually connect to? Is that on the back side of the engine?
-
Hi, Would you sell just the powe steering pipes? Cheers
-
So I recently bought a valver that has an engine just sat on its mounts. It's mostly all plumbed and wired back in with the help of Lilfuzzer but I can't find out where these two wires live They come from just behind the air box but I'll be damned if I can find where they go. No connections can be found. I may have just been looking too long - it's been a long day

So, I've just bought a valver which has previously had the engine removed but the last owner never put it back in fully So basically I've got a Corrado with an engine sat on its mounts with nothing connected. Is there anything out there that gives me a guide as to where everything goes? There's a lot of connectors that are the same so it's difficult to see what's what. Are they labelled with codes or anything? My next bet is to just take photos of an existing valver engine and seeing where everything goes

Nah I haven't got a crane. Fuzz, you may need to come to my rescue....again. There's nothing missing as far as in aware. All the looms there. The engine comes with the new part for the faulty throttle. Not sure what's exactly wrong yet to be honest

Hi all, in the process of purchasing a barn stores 16v that hasn't got an engine in it. I'll be putting a 16v engine straight back in but I haven't done this before Anyone else done it that could give me some advice? Or is there guide somewhere with step by steps. The engine was removed due to a stick throttle on the basis that they were going to stick a 20v engine in there. They then realised they couldn't do it so left it as it is I'm going to fix the throttle problem and put the original 16v back in Any advice appreciated. Thanks

for sale 1993 Corrado VR6 Custom green QUICK SALE NEEDED
NewbridgeJob replied to GreenRado's topic in Cars for Sale [Corrado]
Nice car. For anyone that's interested in the car. The clutch issue you've got sounds exactly what I had on my last VR6. There was a little split on the inside of the slave cylinder in the rubber (the smaller slave cylinder with the curly pipe attached) It meant I almost had to pump the clutch loads of times to allow it to get into gear as it was sucking air in. I fitted a new slave cylinder, bled it and it was fine after that. 30 minute job -
You still got the same number mate? Might have a dodge up sometime this week to have a gander.
-
I might do mate. Buying a house at the minute. Be moved in January so will have some space then. I'll hit you up if you've still got it 👍🏻
-
Long time no speak mate. Nice valver, thinking of getting back into the Corrado game! I miss them

As per title, mines giving me all sorts of grief so after a new one. If anyone's got a decent one let me know. Would need this posting to Sunderland if possible Cheers

It is indeed Chris glad to have it working again

Well, Supercharged you came up trumps because a pressure bleed did the trick brilliantly. I made a DIY kit using a normal spray bottle and some tubing off an old screen wash pump. Pumped the fluid through the cylinder and it's been right as rain. I love my Corrado again
-
Well I had a bottle of brake fluid with a clear tube fed into it and put the other end on the end of the nipple to make sure no air could get in. It doesn't make sense how the pedal can feel fine, I tighten up the nipple and then all of a sudden it goes floppy again. Any idea why when I'm pumping the clutch the fluid isnt coming through the master cylinder? Yet it does when I press the brake
-
Right bit of an update. Had a tube attached to slave cylinder and got all the air out. Clutch pedal felt fine for about 5 minutes and then went floppy all of a sudden asif all the fluid came out although cant find a leak. I then added a tube to the master cylinder and when I was pumping the clutch with the master cylinder nipple open nothing was still coming out however when I pressed the brake the fluid came pouring out through the tube. Is there a possibility that the clutch line to the master cylinder is knackered or is the master cylinder totally goosed altogether? Getting desperate now :(
-
Thanks guys- Fla, I'll let you know. Did any of you's have an issue with the cap letting in air? I can't get my clutch bled as soon as the clutch seems back to normal after bleeding the master cylinder the cluth goes to the floor and then the cap is all full of brake fluid
-
Ah I didn't think they sold them? I'll try a new seal first. I am right in thinkin that these caps shouldn't let any air in or out should they? I wrapped my mouth around the top of it an it was letting air through where that plastic level thing connects
-
Yeah it needs to be an ABS version. Just need one so I can use the car really. Can't find a brand new one on euro car parts or anywhere. It seems as though it's sucking air into the system as I saw a load of oil around the rim of the cap
-
As per title. If that's not available just the cap will do Cheers

Having a nightmare with my clutch at the minute. Pedal is right to the floor so tried bleeding the slave but that makes the clutch worse and pretty floppy asif theres nothing behind it. Tried bleeding the master cylinder but it just dribbles out? Only a few tiny drops at a time. Anyone reckon the master cylinder is at fault? I've got a new slave cylinder to go on but I haven't got a clue how to get the hose off the slave cylinder as there's no bolt or anything to remove it? Help!

Some boy you Fuzz. Nice work with the ali -
Well just an update, I basically just bled it a bit from the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder and this seems to have solved it. Clutch is firm now and pretty much back to normal. I'm thinkin perhaps the cap wasn't on the reservoir properly or somehow air was sucked in somewhere. Thanks for your help all

Anyone? Any advise will be appreciated
