Right, been working most of the days on getting my old wishbones off but there's a bolt that's right behind the sump which is proving to be a right pain in the arse! Any advice on the best way to get this out, I the spanners that fit it just arent long enough to generate enough force I've read somewhere that the engine needs jacking up? How do I do this and where would it be jacked up from? Thanks in advance

Absolutely fine. PM me your details and I'll send the payment Thanks mate

Anyone got one spare? Need it for my headlights. Main beam wasn't coming on so had a look inside the relay an it's completely rusted!

Could be the thermostat that's sticking. Very cheap to replace. Also temp sender sounds faulty if its not reading as running hot
-
Hi, yup still got them if you want them

Bump. Still got these

Managed to sort a picture out

Hi mate yeah it's the digital type. I would upload a photo but I'm on my phone. If you give me your number or email I can send you a picture? ---------- Post added at 3:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 3:57 PM ---------- I don't think these clocks have the vaccum pipe, these are the later style and is just one main plug and nothing else

I play in a punk band and for most of the time used a 100w Marshall JCM 2000. Great amps. I did have a Marshall power block linked to a Mesa V-twin Pre-amp which was absolutely amazing but It was just far too heavy to carry everywhere. Take a look at Krank amps too, great for Thrash/punk if that's what you're playing

Got a set of BBS alloys that were originally on my VR when i got it. They've been sat in my shed for a while now not doing anything so i figured i may aswell sell them. All 4 have got plenty of tred left on them. Only real issue is that two of the centre caps have got the BBS sticker missing. The actual centre cap is still there as you can see but it's just the sticker thats gone. These can be bought off ebay for pretty cheap. The rims themselves aren't too bad however they're a long way off from being perfect. Few curb marks here and there and the lacquer is bubbling in places. This is all reflected in the price. Good set of wheels to have though. Not sure on the size of the tyres but i can find out if required. They're 15" and 5x100. Unsure on ET but 35 seems to ring a bell Looking for £150 collected from Sunderland. I can post but you'll need to arrange the courier yourself.

I've got one mate all in working order out my old 16v. £30 posted?
-
Yeah looks like an old alarm unit. Mine was mounted in the same place and looks quite similar too

I'm assumin that my original lock out the broken one won't fit then?
-
As per title aslong as it works I'll be happy. I'll be swapping the locks over so no problems on that front cheers

Definitely sounds like a duff battery. Maybe give the battery a good charge overnight? I had this issue only the other day, mine had been laid up for 6 months

Got a cluster from a 93 16v Corrado all in working order. Was removed from my old car about a year and a half ago and has about 140k on the clock from what I can remember. £35 Or I'd be willing to do a swap for some items I need below? -drivers side door handle or a set of two -standard coloured driver side rear light cluster (the one on the corner) -standard late steering wheel-must be in good nick as all the rubber is coming off mine I've also got a 16v PAS pump if anyone wants that to swap that for some items above Cheers

Sounds like its deffo the ignition switch. I had the exact same thing with mine. Good look replacing it's a right bitch to get to the tiny screw that holds it in
-
I had a powerflow exhaust which was almost identicle to that. I know that wont help you as theres 2 other suggestions as to what it is. Anyway thats my 2p's worth

Very likely mate! I think I saw L682 RLG aswell but that was on a golf or something

Well had my Blackberrry VR about 8 months now after giving up my much loved 16v When i first got the VR it was in a right sorry state, all arches filled with rust, chains rattling like anything and pretty much just on its last legs. Since i've owned it ive had it resprayed, re-furb'd the engine as best i can, replaced two wings, cleaned out all the interior, fixed all the bodge jobs that the people have done over the years and i'm pleased to say that it's almost exactly as i want it (with help on bits and pieces from members on here of course such as lilfuzzer who lives round the corner) And i've course i've treated the old beast to nice new set of wheels to go with it. Got some new coilies coming soon to lower it a bit, some new headlights to get rid of those inpro ones and im still waiting for a rear boot plinth that i paid for from someone on here that still hasnt arrived 5 weeks later :( :( Anyway heres some pics of what it looked like when i first got it and what i've done with it since then

Sounds more like a tappet issue mate. Have you tried an oil change?
