The fluting on the glass is vertical so it doesn't mess things up that much, and it's still a much better cut off than a reflector housing can offer. I've been experimenting on an old set of headlights, I'm trying to make an oem looking pair of projector headlights like the Rallye had. I'm amazed at the quality of the Projectors for the amount of money they cost, you can get them for £28 on eBay now!Chinese hid projector in Corrado housing
Projector pattern on wall in messy garage
With fluted glass in front
Looks great! Do you have any details of how you did this?

Happy birthday and good luck with the support bar, they can be an arse.
I don't even run the support bar, gives the splitter a little flex when it hits thingsWhat effect will leavening the support bar off would have at high speed?
It's very floppy without. :-&

Scuttle looks great! I need to do this (outside).

After over 4 years of ownership and spending all my time sorting mechanical issues I've had some time to tart up the old girl with new bonnet, front bumper and tailgate. There's still more to do, better condition doors to fit, and the wheels to paint, the list never ends...
For now, she's starting to look better, here's some mediocre car park photos;

Glad it's coming on well and the the terminal numbers are useful. I didn't get around to annotating the photo for OBD2 but there are fewer wires to deal with.
Did you ever find a list of terminals or wiring diagram for the engine connector?

The eBay stainless straps come with stainless bolts but not the bracket. If yours is rotten, you need one of these;

anybody have the correct way round for the oil pressure sensors? (odb2) may be that they are connected up the wrong way round, have seen photos of them both ways round so unsure which is correct.
Stolen from http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?4589818-oil-pressure-sensor
Or do you need the fusebox end?

Also see below for links to OBD2 conversions. If any mods are reading this please either sticky or move the very detailed thread to WIKI page, seems an excellent knowledge base!
OBD2 Conversion thead, very detailed!!! - http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=87250
Thanks for the kind comments.
Be sure to have a look at my Fusebox loom comparison.pdf link.
As Swiftkid said, as multiple functions aren't working its likely to be one of the main plugs. Check your G2 plug(engine wont run without G1)and then your U1 and U2 plugs. These carry most of the information displayed on your clocks. Also check the black bar throught the fusebox is in the looked position.
If these are connected properly everything should work except your tach which will read high. For the tach you might want to change your clocks for VR6 ones, or see here; http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=88297
If you still have problems please list the functions which aren't working.

I think my brake pedal switch (for the brake lights) has been pushed in while I had the servo out. It's now to short.
I presume it's a self adjusting ratchet as in other VWs.
Is there a way to reset or extend the switch?

I switched to inpro projectors with an aim to improve light output, decided it needed the fogs and indicators to match. They were a bit too bling, so they received a light smoke tint, I haven't got around to tinting the headlights. I'm not convinced they will stay, I might change back to standard if I can improve the light output.
