Got a problem with my corrado already (only had it four weeks). Only happens occationally but increasingly frequently. Turn the ignition and starts fine but as soon as the revs. drop back towards idle the engine cuts very quickly - i.e. no stutter just dies. Battery is newish new oil cooler recently fitted - not relevant but for completeness! idle is normally around 650 does need new throttle cable -thanks for the help on that one - think thats it Going to Glenrothes soon for exhaust and cable but any ideas before I go? Any suggestions for treating the leather seats of my Corrado. I have heard that products for sale in Halfords have lots of chemicals in them that can dameage the leather. I also don't want the seats to go a shinny much prefer the matt fininsh. Oh and how often should I treat the seat is yearly ok. Thanks Smudge

Hi, Just bought a Storm myself and find the throttle sticky too. Garage looked at cable and said it didn't need replaced. They said it may just be that way!! I am happy to drive it just now but am planning a service at the VW place in glenrothes in a few months and thought I would find out then. Maybe call them, they are called star performance. Smudge

Does anyone know who to tell what number of Storm they have?

Up to about 80 there wouldn't be a massive difference as you found. The thing about the 360 is it will keep accelerating from 80 seriously quickly compared with you - who will start to flatten out. Not really a case of him not putting his foot down so not to show you up as much as he doesn't want to loose his licience for ever and ever!!! Thanks what I think Smudge

Hello just bought a VR6 - yippee! but have a few snags to fix. I am going to need a new exhaust soon and can't find a supplier for a stainless steel one. Should I persevere or just go to kwik fit? for a regular one? The throttle is very stiff but works fine - cable is fine - might be linkage? (hopefully not looks like lots of moulding to remove) Thanks Smudge
