I've used Koni coilovers since 2002 cost around £900 never been any trouble worth the money in my opinion!

Could just swap the he springs over but I couldn't say which ones!

I made the same expensive mistake myself years ago with this set up so swapped them for Koni coilovers not cheap but worth it ...

Only problem will be the lacquer peeling after 6 months but they do look good😃

Yes rears are 9 inch wide fronts just ove 8 not sure of the dish size though..

Tba if the tyres are stretched it won't drive very well.. If you're rims around 8inch wide then as I said before 215/35 all round would fit easily ..

I have faulken fk 452 all round size 215/35/17 but I could fit a 225 at rear with my flared arches!

If you go for a 35 tyre wall profile you won't have any problems!

I did the same thing myself a few years ago cost around ;£300 ish to fix !

My father owned a few when I was a kid. We did a driving holiday to the south of Spain in a white 350sl not fun sat in the back but loved it so smooth!
