I think the only other visual difference is the US version doesn't have a number plate recess, unlike ours.

Just picked up a copy of the Sept '07 edition of Classic Cars mag, this is the same mag that featured Paul Kippax VR earlier this year. This time there's a feature on pages 108-109 on buying a 90's coupe including the Alfa GTV, Fiat Coupe and Porsche 968. The VR makes a small appearance and a nice little write up with a few words of text written by Vince and a certain chap called cheesewire! Shame there isn't a pic of his VR (they used one of an early valver, strangely) I wonder, does he know of his new found fame? :)

Nice one, impressive power figures there. This car looks even more stunning in the flesh, spotted it at Stealth when I popped in last Wednesday. 8)

DaveStorm replied to daves16v's topic in Suppliers Forum
Hi Dave, passenger side handle died this weekend and drivers side doesn't feel good, so I'll need a repair kit for both sides please. Could you send me payment details? Cheers. -
Nope, mines colour coded with all 3 slats open and I see the oil temp goes well over 120c in the summer too.
-
Nice work badger, good to see another local(ish) C on the forum, looks tidy!

Thanks for the little diversion home today Dave, good to see the WIP is coming on very nicely indeed! Just need to upgrade those brakes now! :)

Got mine Nov '03, had one owner before that. Longest I've ever owned a car by far, as many others have said too. For the time being, I really cannot see what could possibly replace it :?

Stealth is close to you and they are highly recommended by many people on here  http://www.stealthracing.co.uk/contact.php

VW Part number for metal VR6 spark lead tool

This guy sells 'em http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... sc&start=0 -
There should also be an orange sticker stating the colourcode on the inside of the front wing by the airbox
-
Makes me wonder why no aftermarket companies have made all red rear lights for the C, they seem to be the ones everyone asks about and I'm sure they'd sell really well.

Was the Corrado the first car to have...............

Did the almost unheard of Lancia Thema/Ferrari hybrid car have an active rear spoiler? Ah here's one, an 89 G reg, don't know if they made any earlier than that tho? http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C09175 -
Any chance of putting up the brochure scan on here Steve, as it seems like there's a few of us who've not not heard of it?
-
Mines going a bit like this too, I've tried the leather cleaner but it's just about past that stage now, how much is a new wheel from VW dare i ask?
-
One for Rodders this one. lol! :)
-
Yep thats the best thing if you wanna keep the car looking standard, crappy wheels for winter shiny ones for summer
-
^^^^ Lol did you hear me Eric, or are you psychic?
-
I'd say it could be done in a day (if you can get a fast channel crossing), it would be pretty tiring though. Best bet is to ask Tempest, he'll know for sure
-
Nice one Dave, this is gonna be seriously interesting once it all together, you really must let me have a drive of this beasty when it's finished............. LOL!
-
Nice, so what's the diameter of this wheel then?
