I had the same problem with my 92 16v. It turned out to be the hall sensor in the distributor. After paying an auto electrician, buying a new ecu, compression testing for head gasket failure, I bought an eBay special distributor n it fired right up n has been no bother since. Dizzy has been on 3 year now.

That's fine, pm me with your PayPal address.

As above, mine keeps squirting the washers every time I go over a bump.
-
Mine did this under acceleration, I changed the front mount and it stopped the engine pitching backward and pushing the exhaust onto the rear beam. 2.0 16v tho.
-
As above as mine is split n perished.

Will a G60 subframe fit a 1992 16v ?

-
Have you installed the new isv and done a ECU reset, if so hows it running ? Mines a 2.0 16v 9A engine, is the ecu reset the same for this engine or is it even possible ?

When I have the car jacked up I have side to side movement of the the top mount. its on coilovers. Is it because of the coilover being shorter that the mount comes out of its seating. Anyone else have this ?

2.0 16v Plusing revs at idle, then sometimes idling at about 1100 rpm for around 5 seconds then settling, sometimes cutting out at idle, harder to start than usual (turning over for longer before firing) and smellin like its running rich from the exhaust. When its idling normally and the isv is unpluged it go's to the plusing idle until the ignition is turned off and back on. I've cleaned out the isv with carb cleaner with no improvement Any ideas or someone that may have had this problem and the cure. Please help.

Yeah, how many bottles do I need ?

My Corrado crunches when coming to a stop and selecting 1st gear when not at a total standstill, also when goin from reverse to first whiles still going backwards. Is this the synco going and has anyone else had it happen ? Would changing the gearbox oil help ?
