Does anyone know if there is any difference between satin, matt and textured black paints? I know people used to say that textured black paint was better than the stick on vinyl rear window surround on a mKI golf, but is this a real paint? and can i buy a tin off the shelf? Cheers an advance

Well i found that initially, they were ok. thought they just needed bedded in, cause they didnt work as well as i hoped they would. once bedded in, i found i still didnt like em. approaching one round about in particular, on a long stretch of dual carriage way, leading out of down, i always had to tap the brakes whils still on throttle to generate heat in them. if i didnt, they were rubbish. unless they were hot, they did not perform at all. And like corradovr6sc, says, near the end, they barley worked. This was on My Tarox Japan sport discs. on ce i tested some Tarox FR pads, well the difference was like going from Budget Ventus Tyres that came with my wheels to my Pirelli P7000's. un believeable. Performance i would of expected from "performane" parts. More expensive, but worth it. I found the OE pads that were in my car was as good as the pagids hot, but better from cold too.

Yeah, i posted up a lil fitting guide on it ages ago. Everyone told me id need late spec bumpers, but it was obvious no one before had tried it. So at Inters i thought it'd be rude not to buy a full set of late spec bumper lights, and installed them into my car within an hour. a small blank panel has to be knocked out behind the original fogs for clearance. but it comes out with pliers, with no damage to the bumper. then 2 little rubbeer grommets have to be removed from the bumper. These hols the old lights securely. on later lights, the stud is thicker and uses the whole.....hole.... Very easy, and amazing the difference it makes. Everyyone noticed, even on passing. top mod. for early cars.

Nige, i have put late lights on early bumper. its in my Gallery. so i know exactly what is in the bumper. the late ones sit flush by a bracket that is supplied with latespec fogs. the bumpers are the same there.

yeah, its one bulb behind it. i couldn't get mine out, and i think i heard you may have to get a panel, tho id imagine that's bull. it is supposed to light.

Actually, i would say those wheels far exceed the speedlines in class. and the solitudes are starting to show they're age.
