    Mate dont do it! These intercoolers are almost as unefficient as the g60 one, they do appear to have a larger surface but they are designed to run with low boost diesel engines. If your on a budget then look at volvo, rover 600ti, peugeot 406 HDI turbo intercoolers as they can handle better boost pressures and have got metal ends as opposed to plastic.

    Personally i like 'The Golf' and PVW. The Golf gives a good insight into the technical side with the problems pages and how to sections and PVW cover a nice variety of car from UK, US and Europe. I used to read max power, revs and fast car previously but they started getting abit tedious specially when you see the typical fast and furious wannabe's, i quite like the look on the jap cars but on fiestas and corsa's ppprrrlllleeeasseee!

    Hi mate hows it going. It might be a good idea to invest in the coilovers if your going to get a storm next, you could buy two additional 16v spring to use on the coilover to match it to the 16v spring rate

    well actually my cousin lost it somewhere, what do i do now? tried to open it with the universal socket but no joy. shall i take it to a tyre shop?

    not hard to replace at all 1. open boot 2. take off trim which at rear furthest part of the headlining 3. pull down the headlining a little and you can see the aerial, undo connector and the nut IIRC its a 19mm and you will need a spanner. 4. Refitting is reverse of removal...job done. Take care when pulling of trim as yanking it may damage trim clips.

    Alright Alex. THe feed for the charger comes from the nearside of the head where there distributor would be on your engine and the return goes into the sump (IIRC). I've been told that the feed pipe is a certain length on the g60 to maintain a constant oil pressure. Dont know if the pictures will help but they all i got really!

    You can always get the diagnostics done to make sure there are no errors reported or component failure. Having owned a rover coupe turbo i can vouch that they are bloody fast cars and even faster when modified, mine was chipped/exhaust filter, they should she off a vr6 no problems untill its comes to the twisties!

    Yeah thats true but its the price to pay making the rest off the car like new :)

    Alright the car starts up alright from cold and idles at a steady rev but it feels a little lumpy when revving the engine so i need to know what to look for, what to clean out and what to replace to get a smoother idle?

    yeah i finished off the work last night and its at home now, yeah thinking of getting a new box for it but i do like the look of the standard box :?

    It would be easy to think that the backbox on my car was the original unit from the factory as there are no reciepts to say its been replaced. When i rubbed some dirt off the middle part of the silencer i can honestly say it was shiny like stainless steel it has some parts of corrosion on it but thats to be expected for a 12/13 year old car

    Is it stainless steel at all? the middlle part of the silencer looked shiny and untarnished compared to the rest of the exhaust and its much lighter compared to aftermarket silencers.

    The MK2 CRX was a nice design in its time were talking 1987 where you had scirocco, mk3 escorts, nova's etc but i think that design has dated whereas the corrado has matured. But the corrado's had a very wide market model wise, going from 1.8 16v to 2.9 6cyl dont see that range offered in a honda CRX.

    I've always liked the extra little touches here and there like the spoiler, the big rear armrest the door mirrors and the standard exhaust tailpipe for a 1990's car it definately had some very nice touches :)

    Nick, Ask your girlfriends brother, if he's car has been featured on top gear?........or will the CTR have a similar sort of feature.....dont think so.....Nuff said :D

    One Point your forgetting guys is that the vr6 is a ten year older design than the current CTR, a fair comparison would be something like Focus RS, R32, S3 and the likes. Having said that i embarassed a couple of CTR's in my Tomcat turbo :) Honda's have their fare share of problems too a common one is the fuel pump relay on 90's civics and crx.

    Sorry to steal the limelight mate but if you look in my thread posted in august you will see my pioneer screen fitted in my car :D Playstation was in but taken back out again for the respray full install to come. Anyway how the heater switch mate?
