  1. it was a good episode. il iked the jesus bit that was so fecking funny! but i think they should've made hammond act like a 6foot black rap star, that woulda been funny
  2. Bought some Koni's today, brand new from a show in billing aerodome, modified national, they set me back 570 inc VAT and delivery. So Avo's back up on sale soon and Konis here i come.
  3. Saw the car today at bliiling aerodome, i give respect to you cheesy as you have gone a route not many go on and done a really good job :thumbleft: but in my personal opinion (dont get annoyed) the car stands out from the crowd but the colour is a little on the dull side for such a radical corrado

    my G60

damn, i knew i should've put my borbets on sooner :/ nice car mate...classic style
  5. The headunit is 45watts per channel would mean apprx 11watts rms, id get an amp personally but wiring to the doors is abit of a mission, and the original wiring is shite.
  6. Happened to me today, went to PC world in beckton and some stupid woman F*cking uGly B*atch came and parked right next to me, in a car park full of spaces i was still in the car while she was getting out and she couldnt and opened her door door onto my passenger door, i blasted the horn, she gave me one dirty look, i was like u got a nerve. wass going to smash in her window or get my key out, but there was no damage so i spared her shitty little fiesta
  7. Whats a TW*T sorry to hear about it mate, if its any consolation mate, theres a 2.0 16 going on this forum with front end damage, same colour as urs.
  8. yeah have a look on rovertech.com or roverload.com, they the most common ones.
  9. sounds alright, they not worth as much as golfs, most i'd pay for it is 700
  10. Dont mock the rover turbo's they are seriously quick cars, they dont handle as well as corrados nor are they as stable but one running well will see off a g60 at most speeds, the hatchback turbos are quite rare but are meant to handle better than coupes cos the coupes have the targa roof, what colour was the one you saw jim, might be someone from the rover forums.
  11. I personally did alot of research into this last year but the cost of the parts may add up to around £250 - £300 if you can get hold of them that is, so just for the piece of mind i got mine done from g-werks and no regrets so far :) .
  12. Cheers mush! them figures look out of allignment, i reckon its been clocked
  13. Welcome to the forum mike I've had a g60 since last april and i didn't know how it should perform as standard and i became accustomed to the drive and performance, little did i know that it was running lean, however since ive taken it to G-Werks for an inspection and other little bits and pieces, its a totally different car on the standard chip and pulley to say i am impressed would be an understatement. The newest of corrado g60s are still going to be 11 years old, and over the time wear and tear can occur and components can fail, as it runs an ECU. So i would go for a test drive in a well looked aftered g60s before making up your mind. But on the negative side you do need to set aside some money for a charger rebuild if its not been already done and they do need a little money to get them back to tip top condition
  14. well i thought that the interior light is activated when it finds an earthing contact, same with the boot switch, so if the car has an alarm then the boot wire will be spliced from the door loom so the interior light will activate from the boot earth. My light was staying on all the time and the boot switch was found to be the culprit
  15. I graduated in Multimedia last june and also work at dixons part-time wanna get out of there. Since then i've also worked on and off with my brother who happens to own a garage specialising in french cars. i've heard alot about the internet security sector going to take off so i would also be interested in doing a course in this area getting more information so if anyones got some info i could have please let me know thanks.
  16. dont think the shell petrol station sells em  damn i think i need to make three trips to qualify :(
  17. its good, i know i shouldn't have done it now cos it makes me wanna ripp it all the time. On the way back had a few encounters wasn't too far behind a cossie :) ok yes i know that doesnt sound beliveable but he did have abit of smoke on acceleration. humiliated a modified mazda mx5 8) a latest astra was trying to keep up with me on the A2 approaching the blackwall tunnel desperately trying to get infront of me whilst i was manouvering in and out of cars and taking the bends at quite some speed, he approached the bends braked quite late and nealy got squashed by a lorry  beat that for handling
  18. Went down today in my fairly lethargic G60 and drove back in a fire breathing monster thanks to Darren and Steve. A few running problems sorted out, new oil feed pipe and the famous boost return bypass carried out the felt noticebly different and thats still on the standard state of tune. Well worth the 200 mile round trip and the fuel comsumption is better too :? weird considering i was booting it back. thanks again guys.
  19. lol somebody got abit too excited, as KIT has sex line capability
  20. steves got taste! One of the bollywood actresses would do too, but you dont know how jiggy you could get with them, as soon as things hotten up, they'd want pull over and statrt dancing in the park. For those who are confused at this point i'd suggest watching bombay dreams, or the guru!
  21. If money was no object I'd keep my Corrado, no matter other car i had at the time, maybe one of each like Mike Edwards
  22. Anybody read the feature on the 20vg60, how can that engine kick out 250 bhp? If the standard golf turbo is 150 bhp and by remapping it, can go to 180 then how can sticking a supercharger on top give 250bhp? im sure if the Volk-Sport kit was that cheap (around £300) then alot more people would be doing the conversion.
