I have a set of mk4 rear calipers for saleThe have been painted red! they do NOT include the bolt or hoses, but you need to buy the goodridge mk2 golf to mk4 conversion kit
I want £45 delivered for them
Or the kit I sell via the forum
-
Yes afaik the pads and disk are the same
Just the brake line , caliper and cables that differ
-
Cheers
Making them bolts rather than set screws isn't a problem.
That will give the shanked section of bolt, the taper dog nose is nice to have but isn't a neccesacity as you say it just makes initial location easier, mainly for use on the assembly line
And again a flange head is possible, but does nothing a good thick wAsher doesn't do
All depends how oe you want to keep it, and then compare that to the difference in price
-
Matt do you. Have the length, pitch and size for all those bolts??
See my thread in suppliers forum
-
Mine arrived today really pleased with them. Thanksnot a problem

correct length and spec banjo bolts now available, complete with washers, these fit the front and rears from the mk4
they are £5 each or £8 the pair when purchased with matching hoses

i'll need to have a good look later, but could you supply a clutch flexi hose? I can't remember if it has the same connectors as the brake flexi's, will need to check tonight. With 193k, mine must be gubbed, as pedal is softer than I'd like.I've had mentioned I could do the whole line from master to slave in braided, but prefer to keep OE as possible.
Thanks, J
i have a look in to this, see a few american sites sell them, i can certainly be better than that price
they have standered male 10 threads on each end, so if you can let me know the total length i can sort a price out, will offer them with both mild steel and stainless ends
-
here are the first few prices, where ever possible bolts will be 12.9 so most will have a socket cap head.
if you want them with a hex head they would be in 10.9 grade, where ever possible the bolts will be zinc coated to aid anti corrosion
front wishbone bolt £7 pair with new washers and nylocs
hub to balljoint pinch bolt £5 the pair with new nylocs and washers
rear wishbone bolt £7 the pait with new nylocs and washers
does any one have the sizes for the rest of the suspension bolts?
-
I just spent about £600 on bolts and screws from vw :(Got a good list of the types and sizes now though if its useful, for a late vr6.
Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk 2
If you could do that it would be great could you email me it at
Cheers

Yeah so long as you can work out the length and fittings required we can sort it
Have made a few for a Volvo forum
-
Yea it would be just the 2 rear to calipers. I'll give you a shout when I've got the funds cheersNo worries drop me a MSG when you want them
-
That's just what I want
Are the suspension bolts the same across the range??
-
jack daniels single barrel!
yum yum
bunderberg rum is nice aswell
-
How About joining forces with the 312 mm brake guide to supply the longer high tensile bolts needed for the conversion , i think all the info is on that guide but it would be nice to order the lot in a complete set for the jobhmm have a read of the thread and cant find any dimensions of the bolts

I would be interested in the front hub-strut nuts and bolts and rear beam-shock nuts and bolts. These are available from VW, but the quality is not that great as they deteriorate pretty quickly I've found.Same for carrier bolts for front and rear. And the wishbones bolts mentioned. I'd def be up for a kit as it's one of the areas that annoy me. Nivce new, high quality fasteners will help ensure the car is easy to work on for years a well as preventing the usual issues consequences of rust taking hold on bolts.
Great idea :)
not a problem, im sure i can help just need to find the dimesions
if any one has any ols suspension bolts and knows what they are and where they come from but not sure how to get me the specs then they can send me the bolt and in return ill do them a discount off a new set
-
ok, would you want just the tow lines to the caliper or the inner rear ones aswell?
2 rear most would be £29.50 in clear
4 rears would be £50 in clear
-
Hey man I don't need just yet but how much for standard rear VR hoses With clear covers?Cheers
Ben
For what model chap??

Hi all.
as a side line from the brakelines I can also supply stainless steel bolts in almost any length and specification.
I am willing to design and supply sets for the Corrado but as i dont have one to work from I need your help in designing them
for other cars i do them for inlet manifold, exhaust manifold, cam covers, headlight mounts, wing bolts etc
what I aim to do with your help is build kits for the forum containing all or parts of these, but can you kind people supply with me numbers and lengthes of bolts for each purpose
so far i can do cam cover bolts and inlet manifold bolts for the KR engines
secondly I do uprated grade suspension bolts, these are wishbone bolts, pinch bolts, shock absorber mounts etc
again if you can supply the lengthes and pitch and bolt size then i can start building kits to replace these parts.
the grade would be 10.9 or 12.9 grade so as good as if not better than standerd.
SO ANY BOLT TYPE YOU WANT JUST ASK AND TOGEATHER WE CAN SOURCE AND SUPPLY THEM
-
am doing an order tomorrow
can be full or part sets
with or without covers
-
Also do you do the banjo bolt?i can get them but they arent cheap at £5 each,
easiest thing to do if buyin used calipers is to ask for them to be supplied with the orginal bolts, then the washers i supply will seal with them
-
How much is it for the above plus the other 2 rears if you have 6 piece hose setup?Cheers Rob
Rob, for the six lines it would be £70 delivered
-
288 with banjo end lines
conversion hoses to fit mk4 rear calipers
-
Dont forget you will need different rear hoses
See my eBay listing for details
-
you still doing these lines i want a set for my 1994 2.0 litre 8 valve corrado please in silver please how much and how long i got to waitof course i am fella,
will be doing them for as long as there is demand
according to my data you have a car with six flexi hoses on, two at the front and four at the rear.
can do you them for £70 delivered
as you can see from the others i aim to get them made and out inside a week.
normaly happens that way so long as they get made correctly
payment can be made via paypal to
cheers

Got my VR6 fronts yesterday, top man :)Not a problem guys
Happy to help
