Guys if you want these in the next month you need to start thinking about ordering them
as i start my new job on the 25th june i doubt very much i will have time to get these ordered up and posted out etc for the month of july.
-
Oh I see
Can't help them I'm afraid just make sure you get all the grease out before you refit it
Certain types of grease will mess the rubber seals up in no time
-
Normaly just pump air in to it don't use grease
-
Can do you a shiny new braided pair for when you refit them!!!
If you have a trigger gun with a nozzle on you can put that in to the caliper and blow the piston out
-
hi yes it is m12 union.im selling full sets/singles on the forum, under brake lines remanufactured.
I can supply braided flexis to join it all togeather
-
That sounds about right , it's very common for a larger fitting to be used here and there
-
Basically the easiest way to gain any power is to drill the air box on the wing side, as you cant fit an induction kit due to the components sitting on top of the air box itself. And then possibly fit KR cams from a 1.8 16v corrado, doing these two mods is about the only easy power gain that you will get from the 2.0 16v. Obviously fitting the cams will cost a few quid if you get a garage to do the work. A pair of KR cams should cost you about £40 to buy, although you only need the cam on the exhaust side I believe? Drilling the air box can be done by yourself with a set of hole saws and will also give your car abit more growl.Once it has being drilled can you fit a panel filter in the original housing??
As these do give a small increase
-
Im a noob on very but here are the basics
Get it breathing better, fit an air filter either a panel or good quality enclosed set up with cold air feed from the front of the car
Look at the throttle body, can the internal castings be cleaned up at all?? Opened out and smoothed out, can this then be port matched to the inlet??
The inlet itself, same as above then fit a ptfe inlet gasket, this helps to reduce heat pAss from the head to inlet, the cooler the sir the more dense it is so the bigger the bang
Those are the easy ones, then your in to looking at cams and ignition optimisation and after market Ecu or reprogramming the standerd item
Also look at the exhausts a good quality free flow exhaust helps to free things up a bit aswell

Will the skoda fabia vrs 288mm calliper/carriers fit on my vr6 ok.just wondering if they are suitable.?I would of thought so, the group tend to interchange parts across the group
-
GET THESE WHIKST YOU CAN
I START A NEW JOB ON THE 25th JUNE SO THE BRAKELINES AND STAINLESS BOLTS WILLBE TAKING A BACK SEAT FOR A MONTH OR SO
Also now do inlet manifold bolts and cam cover bolts to suit the KR series engine
-
Custom lines also available to suit fitment of aftermarket or Porsche calipers
IF YOU INTEND ON BUYING THESE I SUGGEST IT IS SOON I START A NEW JOB THE END IF JUNE (with Mercedes) SO THESE WILL BE TAKING A BACK SEAT FOR A MONTH OR SO
-
Glad you got the braids sorted
Yeah sometimes if your only doing a few brake lines now and again it's easier and cheaper to get them made up by either a friendly garage or most independent garages will also do them
-
Any one had any mot issues with it fitted??
-
Time is ticking away

My sealey is like that , two halts of a wedge surround the pipe, you then put a blank die/ centring die in to the end wind it down in place , it moves the pipe in to the right place and pushes the wedge back to hold the pipe in place, unscrew the die , put the flare die in place and repeat gives a perfect end every time
The handheld ones are useful, we used to have one and a fed ends some pipe etc with us when we went off roading, great for an emergency repair
-
Is it the handheld one??
A good bench/ vice mounted one is what you want
-
Alot if it is down to quality of the tools used, you will get a flare a cheap set up but it's so much easier to do with a good quality set up
My Sealy kit cost close on £200 about ten years ago, but is so quick and easy to use and get good results with

Next order goes in friday
