Price on the kit depends in what parts you want, battery cables, earth cables , junction box etc for a full set up your looking around £60
Im not that clued up on the car, the lower lights can you remove the inner passenger one and get a duct in there to scoop air up to the filter??
Once the battery is removed of course
-
I'd certainly be looking at getting more cold air to the filter, can you duct some in from the bumper??
As for battery relocation, it's not hard to do is there anything else fitted to the battery box to stop you moving it??
I have supplied a few kits for French cars and on e38 for doing it, new power cables, earth cables and a junction box.
Then need a battery box for the boot to secure the battery in
-
Can now supply the bolts for mk4 banjo ends front or rear for £6.50 a pair
And work is better than I thought so am taking orders
-
These end soon
-
To be fair the bolt will probably be ok just use a new nyloc
-
Hmm they arnt a standerd bolt, the shoulder has that extra thick section it which makes it a very special item
-
What's the spec of the parts??
Im sure I could supply them for less than that, I already supply a lot of suspension bolts for French cars via forums and ebay
-
I Was in a similair position working for an auction company, always looked over for promotion and critised for the smallest of things
Had a manager that liked to dish out disaplinerys left right and centre
I stuck at it until I had a new job, one after noon he took me in the office to issue me another letter telling me I would be having a meeting with hr!!!
Only I had a letter for him, it was my resignation as I hAd being offered a new job, walking distance from home and more money!!!
He really wasn't impressed as in sure this time he was throwing enough crap to see me out the door!!!
Im training at the new job at the moment, doing It off site and have a brand new SLK to drive around in!!!

Hi mate I'm after a set 288 fronts and standard rears.Ali.
Hi mate did you get the pm??
Need a few details from you so I can quote you happy
-
Have a look in the suppliers forum at my thread
I can sort you out, do you have four flexi lines at the rear or two??
let me know the year and model / standered spec of car and i can work out how mnay lines you have
-
As can be found in the supplier forum I can do the custom braided lines to suit the front and rear conversions
Love the attention to detail
-
It's something that all manufacturers do after a while
They only need to keep parts available for ten years after the last car rolls off the production line
-
I got the very last pair available
Ordered them tuesday
-
an old shot of it, on the way to book our wedding in devon
the lines of it are very crisp and clean and i dont think it has aged that bad considering the other cars on the road at the time and how dated they now look

todays update
all back togeather, i have a sore neck from sun burn!!
pic of the gasket in place, sorry forgot to take a pic of it pre fitted
the tb, on the left is the modfied one and the right is the standered one.
cant really see from the shots but just before the buttefly is amassive step, most of this has being removed
standered tb
modfied tb which shows the step, or lack of it now
inlet manifold inlet opened out to port match with the gasket and the radius inside smoothed and blended
hit a few snags putt ing all back togeather, the main one was the bolt holes for the rear lifting hooks so i had to take them off and file the holes open slightly
have only taken it for a quick spin around the block but throttle response feels better, engine note has changed and is now even more throaty!!
and here is how she looked on the 28th june last year after an idiot pulled across me
and after i had repaired it
-
Can any one tell me the length of the window scraper on a 90 car
-
As standerd it's 194 bhp and 267 nmof torque
Last time this one was on the rollers it made 212bhp and 282 nm torque
And that's just with a panel filter and exhaust, hopefully the new work will see it around 220bhp
-
as the im on "gardening" leave but only have a barked area and small amount of grass to cut that didnt fill much of my time up.
so as the sun was shining today i set about doing a bit of work on the v6.
firstly it got a bath in dodo juice shampoo
then a coat of auto glym super resin
two coats of poorboys black hole sun
and at the moment a coat of poor boys natty blue wax is curing!!
here are a few pics from before the nattys blue
not a bad reflection!!
then i wanted to change the plugs as id not done them since i got the car, removed the throttle body and inlet manifold so i can get too it
wasnt as bad as i thought to get too it, just the bolts on the lifting eyes at the rear of the engine that thru me a small curved ball!!!!
any way whilst the manifold was off i thought i would give it a clean!!
so set to it with the wire wheel and started to clean it
before
during
after will be posted tomorrow, need to find the mount for my set of polishing mops and soap so i can try and polish it properly
a few tweeks will be made whilst its apart,
the inlet manifold gasket is being replaced with a 6mm thick ptfe one, these are widely used on jap cars to reduce heat transfer between parts and ultimatly reduce the air temp in the inlet tract
these are still being worked on so pictures will be up tomorrow.
next is the throttle body, have had a spare one of these almost since i got the car, i started with fitting a standered paper gakset and marking the inner edge of where the gasket comes too, this is a good few mm outside of the edge of the tb mouth.
i then got the die grinder out and removed the excess material and smooth it all in to the tb itself.
i then looked further in to the tb at the ridge just beofre the butterfly / throttle shutter and proceeded to smooth this in, make the step from it much smaller and more radioused out.
hopefully the upshot of this will be better throttle response and maybe a bit more power, more air in equals more squish so a bigger bang!!
i will also make a ptfe gasket to go in btween the inlet manifold and throttle body, these will all be updated tomorrow when they are completed.
I will also be making a few uprated ground earth cables to go to the rear bank of the engine (already have them on the front bank) these are provem to help smooth out the idel, cut down on ecu faults, improve light output and have being shown on rolling roads to add a n extra bhp or two
a further update will be posted tomorrow

Yes that could help, or something along those lines
BUT
I'd be looking at something made from plastic and then covered in that silver heat protection stuff to reduce the temps
I prefer to use a standerd air box with a panel filter,y 406 v6 is running circa 220bhp with just a free flow exhaust and panel filter , now has a few more mods
Cold air feed from front bumper,
custom ground earthing kit
Ptfe gasket on throttle body and inlet manifold
Tb has being opened up and the majority of the step to the butterfly removed
Tb and inlet manifolds all port matched
Car certainly feels quicker , need to get it on the rollers and hope to see around the 230bhp mark
