Good to know Leon, thanks for the info mate. Looks like I need to get on eBay and order some tapered bolts for the Borbets

    wheel bolts

****, I've got Borbet C's to fit as my winter wheels, my summer wheels are BBS RS771. I'm guessing thus means that my bolts from the BBS wheels are not gonna fit the Borbets?!
  4. How about if I organise a courier? Paisley Freight specialise in delivering large car parts, they'll courier a full car interior for £46
  5. Hi mate, any idea when the carbon fibre number plate plinths are going to be available? Any idea of approximate cost?
  6. I'm interested, how much would you be looking for posted?
  7. Cheers for the heads up, been looking into getting some new products. Need something to protect my winter wheels I've just had powder coated. I've gone for a cream colour, so I'm definitely gonna need a sealant or something along those lines!
  8. Thanks mate, I'll see if I can get along. Usually play footy across in Huddersfield on a Sunday so I'll to see if there's a game on first.
  9. Thanks for all the info, I'll maybe try and get along to one of the local meets, ok just to turn up at these things? Seems like a good way to make contacts, need all the help I can get keeping Corrados on the road!
  10. To be honest the motor will be on standby for a while, I'm doing a fair few miles and fair few hours for work at he moment so the little 8valve is quite good at keeping petrol costs down! Also I couldn't really afford to have the car off the road for any length of time at the moment. A contact for bodywork would be really appreciated, there's a hole in the body on the rear panel in front of the passenger side rear arch. It's been badly repaired at some point in its recent past and the filler is starting to crack and come away from the body, so that is going to need sorting out. May look into a blow over spray job too, if I can get something sorted cheap enough. Not in any clubs or owt, wasn't aware there was anything local to be honest
  11. Yeah that'd be fantastic, I'm in Bradford too so that's handy. Be good to have someone on my doorstep who knows there stuff, does he have his oen garage business or is this something he does in his spare time? I try to do as much as I can on the car, but with thr hours I work nowadays it's not really possible, plus I'd never be able to handle an engine conversion! Don't suppose he does bodywork as well?
  12. F*€%#ng hell that's cheap! I'm expecting that I'll have to pay around the £2k mark at least! Might just stick with my little 8valve engine until it goes bang and then decide from there
  13. How much will the engine conversion cost you? Something I'm thinking of for the future but don't know if I can justify the cost as mines used as a daily so bodywork is quite tatty overall
  14. To be fair mine wasn't too bad, it was a Scorpion system so the quality was decent, sounded good too, but the design is so bad. Always felt that anybody driving behind me must have thought I was a chavvy boy racer!
  15. I had my exhaust fitted at Tony Banks about a month ago, I went for an oval tailpipe too. It was also a horrible DTM system that was taken off and replaced.

    Cream Wheels

They look fantastic Baron, are they Cayenne wheels? Wheels have been dropped off, only costing £16 per wheel. They charge £1 per inch for standard colours.

    Cream Wheels

Cheers Shaun, appreciate your input. The way the wheels look on your Mk3 has made my mind up for me. On the way to the powder coaters in the next hour for some creamy goodness :camp:

    Cream Wheels

Cheers Sean, cream does go so well with green cars. What we're they like for keeping clean? I'm guessing brake dust was pretty obvious on them? Upside of the Borbet C design is that they will be easy to quickly wipe down.

    Cream Wheels

I'm far too cackhanded to be spraying them myself. I'll just let the powder coaters do their thing. Leaning towards doing them cream, the downside will behaving to keep them clean, bearing in mind they'll be used as winter wheels.

    Cream Wheels

I'm getting my winter wheels powder coated today and I still can't make my mind up on the colour. I've narrowed it down to either standard alloy silver, a mid grey with a bit of shine do they're not too full, but also tempted by going cream. The wheels are 16" Borbet C and they're going on a Classic Green Corrado. Any thoughts? Cheers
