  2. Hi all In need of a Late VR6 NS wing, would be nice if it was dragon green but not fussed. Needs to be clean ideally and close to Gatwick aiport unless willing to post. Thanks :)

  10. On my mk2 vr6 i got brand new fuel lines front to back from TPS, but i ordered mk3 vr6 ones and they fitted perfectly so i would assume it would be the same story for the Corrado.

  12. yeah sounds about right, i first experienced it in my 16v mk2 it had crappy tappets that were always loosing pressure and tapping so replaced them with new vw ones, soon as i revved it kept doing the above. It baffled me for a while you couldn't drive it until it reached temp as it just cut out and would have to crank it for ages until the cylinders slowly come back on line. any way replaced the pump and all was well.
  13. relief valve sticking and not allowing the pump to relief oil pressure,blipping the throttle most likely unsticks the relief valve. If the relief valve is totally stuck closed and if you rev it hard the hydraulic tappets pump up to much and wont allow the valves to close causing the engine to stall, and upon restarting will sound like its got no compression until the tappets come back down to normal operating pressure.

  15. On my 16VG60 I used s2 pistons and rods, but now going a different route so the pistons and rods are for sale with new rings pm me if you're interested.

  21. I have a few pictures of it but mainly in project form I'm pretty sure when I had it, it had a big folder of extensive history did you get it with the folder? I'll have a look for some odd history parts I'm sure I might have the odd paper laying around, dont worry about postage mate its only pennies I'm glad you are looking after her

Legend so happy you saved her was a really clean shell when I bough it, I got it off ebay with out even seeing it. the bloke delivered it to my house from Brighton for the grand some of £400 (I think) the engine was toast spun a main. I put a Kr in from a mk2 along with new service items. When my mate owned it he put a ported head along with cams but I believe the owner respect towards to car went downhill rapidly after that. Was it in a bad way when you got it? I would loved to of seen her but I'm a bit far away, Crawley next to Gatwick. Ps does the electric spoiler work?

I dont know how I found this post but this is my old car :bonk: I bought it back in 2007 with a blown engine... any way I replaced the engine and various parts it then hibernate in my garage for a couple of years until my friend bought it in 2009, I know it changed hands a couple of times after him but have no idea where it is now but still shown taxed.
